2014.08.02 Massu in Zoom In Saturday
It was a really cute show, short as it was. At first they talked about drinking alcohol. Massu said he drinks sometimes and all the other NEWS members do too. They sometimes all drink while they go out to eat during the tour. When asked who’s the best at holding his liquor Massu replied they never had a contest to find out (too bad) but probably Shige since he’s the type who can go to bars alone.
Then they talk about Massu’s appearance in KIndaichi and he says he was very happy to participate. Talking about the relationship with his kouhai Massu said they kept saying “Let’s have dinner sometimes” and such but they never called him. Huh? Isn’t it senpai who should call, Massu?
Then Massu complained that other NEWS members tend to exaggerate when they talk about him on TV or in magazines and give the fans false information and that makes them think Massu is a weird guy.
M: For example, I don’t like to put my bag on the floor, I’m the type to put it on the chair. So they talk like “Massu is such and such in the dressing room” and they say “he’s a neat freak”. So even the staff says “Don’t ever put Masuda-san’s bag on the floor!” “Be careful!” And it spreads and escalates so I might be seen as a meticulous and dainty person.
Host: Who does this the most?
M: Koyama. He began to work in every. so his words got very convincing and even if I say “That’s not true” it looks like a lie.
Host: He sounds credible.
M: That’s right. No matter what I say… So fans think “Again”. Are you a neat-freak?
Host: I like cleanliness but I’m not a neat-freak.

Host: I wipe it. Every time.
M: I also do it very time. It’s normal, right?
He should have stopped here. but at this point Massu becomes confident and decides to push it further.
M: The other 3 are all unfastidious men. Take Tegoshi. At the venues he goes to shower before me and after him all the shampoos are knocked down, the towels are covered in foam. The (shower’s) dressing room is also all soaked.
Host: Well, it seems like you are a neat-freak. You didn’t justify anything.
M: Even though I came to refute it.
