Have you guys ever heard of the band Nirvana? :3
Yeah, but I’ve only heard one or two songs by them.
*sniffles* Poor Kurt Cobain!
Dog, that was a long time ago!
It’s still sad, Cat!

Do you use your original astrological sign, or your updated/correct one?
Original, even though I know it's incorrect
Original, but I'll always believe it's correct
Updated
They've been updated???
The astrological signs have shifted, according to a blog post from NASA. Here are the new zodiac sign dates to use for your next horoscope.
I love that everyone is looking at the objective, scientific evidence that celestial bodies move over time and that therefore their position in space is no longer the same as it was thousands of years ago, meaning you were most likely not born under the same sign you thought you were, and going. Nah I dislike that I am NOT an Aeries. Fuck that noise.

i dont like talking about this stuff publicly very often bc . it's honestly scary, but like... i think more people need to realize that trans fetishization includes trans men too. and trans people are capable of fetishizing other trans people. trans women are capable of fetishizing fellow trans women, and the same can be said for trans men. the same can also be said for trans women fetishizing trans men and vice versa.
i'm mainly gonna talk about the fetishization of trans men for this because i'm a victim of this kind of fetishization and i personally haven't seen a lot of people talking about this issue. but like... it feels like a lot of queer spaces favor conventionally attractive feminine transmascs because they're considered easier to sexualize, regardless of their consent. in fact, i've seen people actively ignore or look down upon trans men who are actively more masculine.
i've been in an abusive relationship in which i was feminized so my abusers could use me as a sex object rather than an actual partner. they sexualized afab qualities in trans men, and would constantly ogle over my body and sexualize me and our t4t relationships as often as possible behind closed doors. ever since that shit happened to me, i've been doing a lot of self reflection and also some reflection of how the trans community treat trans men. too many people are way too comfortable with feminizing trans men and only valuing trans men when they're sexualized. too many people are too comfortable with using terms like "boy pussy/boobs" and "femboy" in regards to trans men regardless of any context. i've literally seen this kind of shit pop up in completely nonsexual contexts where it's just.. a trans guy existing.
the general perception of trans men seriously needs to be reconsidered. how many people see us as men- real people- rather than "uwu cutsie boy toys"??
btw i wanna establish that i hate transfem fetishization just as much as transmasc fetishization. i don't have as much room to speak on that subject bc im a trans man, but like... there's absolutely a large problem in regards to how people frequently fetishize trans women.
i also wanna clarify that feminine trans men are awesome and should be treated with the same amount of respect as any other person. i'm not criticizing how people identify themselves or how they present, i'm criticizing how people take advantage of that and use it as a chance to sexualize trans people.
trans people are not your sex toys. we are not objects for you to ogle.
it feels like a lot of "progressive" online spaces have really latched onto this ooo boykisser pastel stockings kitty femboy image of GNC men and i have to admit i have concerns about how those spaces would respond to GNC men who either can't or simply don't want to look like that
are these spaces kind and considerate to fat men in skirts? black men with nail polish and lipstick? GNC men with muscles and body hair? gay guys with long hair and beards? GNC trans men who don't want to be "cute"?
this is taking off a little so i'd like to note i deliberately picked these examples so they're not mutually exclusive - there are plenty of GNC black trans bears out there, and for a group of people so influential to gay culture through the drag and ballroom scenes, they feel very underrepresented in these online spaces
