The boys get their powers after a meteor lands near their bus on the first night of tour. The next day, Eric wakes up floating in his bunk, and Brent keeps hearing his bandmates' thoughts. At the first show, Zach calls out a violent security guard, and when he points at him, fire shoots out of his finger. After the show, Barry trips on the backstage stairs, grabs the metal railing, tears it away from the wall and leaves a handprint in it - and that's when everyone realizes what's been going on.

I read your fics on writerscafe too and they were amazing! If you ever start to get back into the fandom, may I suggest writing another story based on that superpower post?

thank you! and sure, if i ever get back into the fandom i think a superpower fic would be kind of neat. :) but in the meantime, if anyone else would like to take on that project, be my guest!

I know that you aren't really in the Shinedown fandom anymore but my god if that was you who wrote the stories on writerscafe, you are good... I actually cried reading them... anyways I hope you have a good day/night and I hope someday you can come back to the Shinedown fandom! :3

well thank you ! yeah that was me, i wrote those several years ago. not quite up to par with the things i write now, but i appreciate your kind words nonetheless!!!i can't say for sure that i'll never return to the fandom, but the possibility is looking bleak. between college, my social life, my other fandom (which i'm slowly dropping out of tbh), and drinking eight glasses of water per day, i just don't have the time (or interest) anymore. i still catch the occasional video or picture the guys post, and i still listen to their music quite a bit, but as far as involvement with the fandom, that's just something i don't do much of anymore.

just for everyone’s information, this account is on an indefinite hiatus. i’m not sure when or if i’ll return, but i’ll keep the blog open since people still seem to enjoy my gifs, edits, and whatever else i’ve posted over the past three and a half years.
