Look at him!
What if I wrote a Reg Slivko fanfic in 2024/2025 when I'm pretty sure everyone has forgotten about Kong: Skull island..
In case anyone would happen to care:
What type of fic?

Bedtime Story - Eddie & Wayne Munson
Wayne Munson used to have a schedule that suited him perfectly fine. Work the night at the plant, come home in the morning and had some croissants he had picked up at a gas station on the way home, and go to bed. The next day he would spend some time going through the newspaper, watch some tv and go to a diner before heading to back work. He never deviated from this schedule much, except on weekends where he frequented a bar with some of his colleagues. This suited him just fine. That was until one day, his nephew was dropped off and never picked up again.
X Drake x reader - Report
You walked through the beautiful, colorful streets of Wano. There was no denying it, the land looked gorgeous, or at least certain parts of it. Of course, you were aware there were parts of this country that werenât as nice a sight. Especially where the factories were located.
Sadly, however, you would leave this beautiful sight behind soon and take a boat to Onigashima, which didnât look as inviting as the Flower Capital. You had no choice though, as you had to report to your captain: X Drake. After having tailed the CP Aigis 0, it just so happened that they landed on the island your captain was doing undercover work himself.
You left the beautiful capital and quickly reached the port. A ship from the Beast Pirates was waiting for you, as Drake had instructed them to pick you up. Of course, your captain had lied and told everyone that you would swear your allegiance to Kaido, since all his subordinates were under his service.
You quickly met with the captain of the ship and verified your identity, quickly getting on board as you saw he was in a bad mood. Then again, youâd be too if Kaido would be your captain.
Onigashima came into view and your mood dropped instantly. How could this place be located so close to something as beautiful as Wano? Why was Drake even there, couldnât he do his undercover work on the beautiful mainland instead?! The things you did for your captain.
The boat arrived and you hopped off the ship after quickly thanking him for transporting you. He only grunted in response. Geez, such nice company. You left the boat behind you and started towards the living quarters of the Tobi Roppo, using the instructions Drake had given you in his latest letter.
On the way, you noticed many of the Beast Pirates, all drinking, laughing and partying. You were glad to at least see they had a better mood than that shipâs captain. If you would have to spend your undercover time looking at moody faces youâd go mad and become sour yourself. You wanted to leave this country with your sanity.
Finally, the living quarters of the Tobi Roppo came into view in the distance. Honestly, youâd be glad to rejoin your captain and your old crew. Tailing CP Aigis 0 had been quite lonely and boring. Besides, seeing him always made you happier.
At least, you finally reached your destination. It also didnât take you long to notice which one was Drakeâs since it was the most barren place. You walked over to the door and knocked. No answer. Of course, Drake wasnât here. Why would it be easy?
âCan I help you?â You jumped and turned around at the person from who the voice came. It was a rather tall man with light blue hair which hung in a weird pompadour in front of his face.
âUh, I am looking for DrakeâŠâ you said. After all, maybe this person knew where your captain was. The man smiled at you as he took you in. Did he see through you? Did he know you didnât really belong here?
âAh, you must be his subordinate right? He is currently in a meeting with Sasaki, but I could keep you company until then.â You looked at him a bit confused and you wanted to put distance between the two of you. You didnât like where this was going. The man seemed to catch on as to what you were thinking. âOh no, donât get me wrong. I am Kyoshiro, and I just want to keep you company since Drake doesnât tend to hurry.â
You decided to try and trust him, for now. After all, you had to be on good terms with the Beast Pirates and their associates. Thus, you followed this Kyoshiro to a bar nearby where he treated you to a cup of sake.
After a few cups, Kyoshiro became very good company. He seemed quite entertaining and knew how to keep a conversation going. âSo, tell me. What is with you and Drake?â he asked. Confusion hit you. What did he mean with that?
Kyoshiro could see the confusion and chuckled. âDrakeâs demeanor changed completely when he knew you were coming to Wano. Heâs been more distracted and making sure everything would be in order for your arrival.â
Those words surprised you. Drake had been looking forward to your arrival then? You didnât think it would make much difference for him, after all you were just his subordinate. The notion made you warm inside. Apparently that started to show on your face as well as you became red, much to Kyoshiroâs entertainment.
Kyoshiro of course had caught on to Drakeâs change the past few days and it was easy to see why, seeing you in front of him. It was even more amusing to him to see the effect mentioning Drake had on you as well. He could easily tell there was more going on than just a captain and crewmember type of relationship. At last, he had a chance to enjoy himself and play cupid for a bit.
You noticed a mischievous glint in your companyâs eyes and couldnâtâ help but wonder what that was about. âSo, when do you think Drake will be back?â you asked him. You really wanted to get the report out of the way so you can get some rest from your long trip.
Kyoshiro shrugged. âNo clue. But I am not in a hurry. Besides, Sasaki is also in that meeting and he is my usual drinking partner. I quite enjoy your company anyway.â
âWell, that is easily solved.â The voice made your heart skip a beat. Only now you had realized how much you missed that voice. You turned around and met the blue eyes of your captain. However, they were focused on Kyoshiro with murderous intent behind them.
Kyoshiro only looked amused. Oh how easy his job would be here. âDone already? Thatâs not your usual way of working.â the blue-haired man said, a teasing grin on his face.
Drake kept his eyes fixated on the man. How dared the try to woe his crewmate! âSasaki is ready to be your drinking buddy again.â The anger present in your captainâs voice surprised him. Why was he in such a bad mood? Had something gone wrong in the meeting?
Kyoshiro sighed, but couldnât hide his amusement even a little. âSuch a shame, I was really enjoying my new company.â The man turned to look at Sasaki, who had been stationed next to the angry Drake, silently observing. âNo offence.â
Sasaki laughed a bit, having caught on to the little devious plan of the yakuza. âNone taken, my friend. I would also prefer company this pretty.â This was the last drop for Drake. Something inside him exploded.
Drake turned to you and grabbed your wrist. âCome on, (Y/N). Itâs time to go.â and with that, he dragged you out of the bar. You were so confused and gave the two other men an apologetic look. Something told you youâd best keep them on a friendly side.
As Drake was dragging you through the streets of Ongashima, seemingly without a destination in mind, you were gathering your thoughts. âOkay and now weâre going to stop!â you shouted as you stopped in your tracks and effectively stopping your captain as well.
âWhat on earth was all that about?!â Drake didnât know how to answer that. Well, he knew the answer, but he didnât want to admit that he was jealous. After all, you were supposed to be by his side again now that you two were reunited.
âDrake?â His silence was starting to worry you. Was he sick? The man sighed. He knew there wasnât a way around it. He supposed it was time to finally admit it.
â(Y/N)⊠I missed you.â Your cheeks warmed at those words. He did? You had missed him a lot as well. âI missed you too, Drake. But what does that have to do with that display in the bar?â you questioned. You didnât see the correlation.
âThose guys donât know how to treat a lady properly.â You laughed a bit. âAnd you do?â Sure, you loved Drake a lot but he was by no means great with the ladies.
Drake grumbled at that. âPerhaps not, but I do know how to treat you. And that is the only lady I need to know how to treat.â You were speechless. What were you supposed to say to that? Guess he did know how to woe a woman if he tried.
Your captain gained some confidence witnessing the flustered state you were in. âYouâre not denying it, so I am assuming I am right?â You blushed more and nodded. âPerfect.â Drake said. God, you didnât know how to handle it if Drake showed his more confident side.
However, you wouldnât indulge him too much. âSo, do you have time for my report now?â you asked, hoping to change the subject. âOf course I have time for you⊠but the report can wait.â Drake said with a smirk, taking your hand and leading you back to his living quarters. It would prove to be an interesting night for the two of you.
Trafalgar Law x reader - The Crownest
After weeks of nothing but water, the Heart Pirates were more than sick from travelling. Sure, a submarine helped with sea-sickness, since the waves donât really affect it. That didnât mean, however, that seeing nothing but sea got stale.
To make matters worse, the crew had underestimated the time it would take to travel to the next island. This meant they hadnât stocked enough food and drinks to last the journey. Theyâd been going on just rice for the past week. The crew had been cursing their captain since he had not allowed them to stock any bread.
As soon as the submarine docked, the crew rushed to  land. Penguin and Shachi even fell to their knees and kissed the ground, as if theyâd never see it again. Law walked past his crew members, thinking to himself that they were exaggerating and went on a quest for finding a restaurant where they could fill their stomachs before going around to find resources.
The group of pirates stumbled upon a restaurant called âThe Crownestâ, where they noticed other pirates eating. They decided that this was a safe bet for their meal and entered. As soon as they had all settled at the table, they were approached by a girl.
âHello, may I take your order?â you asked the band of pirates sitting before you. Of course you had immediately recognized them as the Heart Pirates. After all, you see their wanted posters pass by quite often.
The crew eagerly placed their huge order and you retreated to the kitchen to give the order to the cook. Law had noticed that you recognized him, and was slightly surprised by the fact that you hadnât been phased by it at all. Then again, the place was filled with pirates and none of the worked even so much as batted an eyelid at it.
A little while later, you started bringing over the plates of food to the Heart Piratesâ table, having to go back and forth a few times considering the size of their order. They seemed really hungry and there was no doubt in your mind they would finish every single plate.
Once you made sure theyâd gotten everything they wanted, you went to serve other customers. Everything went smooth until you heard the bell ring, signaling that new customers had entered the restaurant.
You looked up and frowned a bit when you saw a bunch of marines, that were stationed in your town, looking around the restaurant.
You made your way to the group of marines. âCan I help you, gentlemen?â you asked, shooting them your usual smile. They completely ignored you and pushed past you, heading over to the Hear Pirates once their eyes fell on the group of pirates.
The group of marines pointed their weapons at the group. âTrafalgar D. Water Law, you and your crew are under arrest for your crimes against the government.â The leader of the bunch stated. Law stopped eating and took a quick look to properly assess the situation.
You could tell the marines were getting impatient by the lack of response from the pirates and were about to speak out again, when you interrupted the whole situation. âAnd what are we doing?â Your voice was stern, as well as the look on your face.
âWe are taking in a dangerous pirate. Now, (Y/N), step back. We would prefer it if no innocent civilians had to get hurt.â You rolled your eyes. Did you really seem that fragile to him?
âI donât care how dangerous this man is. Nor do I care what kind of crimes he committed. He is a customer and he will not be bothered during his meal here.â you stated, making sure to put on your most intimidating face. If pirates didnât scare you, the marines had no chance at all to frighten you in the slightest.
â(Y/N), donât be so ridiculous, he-â You didnât let him finish his sentence. âHe, is eating. He isnât harming anyone at all. Besides, have you forgotten our deal? You promised to stop bothering my customers. At this point even the non-piratesâ meals are interrupted. As soon as someone walks through the door here, pirate or marine, noble or theif, poor or even a king. They are a customer and they will get the proper treatment.â
The marines were all silent, as well as more than a little bit surprised that you were daring to speak out like that. âSo, by definition, that makes this man a customer, whom you are bothering.â you said. The marines knew there was no way to reason with you and left the restaurant, obviously quite pissed they had to let go of a chance to capture the infamous Trafalgar Law.
âStupid marines, always ruining my business.â you muttered as you watched them leave. The Heart Pirates were all staring at you in disbelief. Never, not even in his wildest dream, Law had thought someone would stand up to the marines for him.
You noticed the confused faces and burst out laughing. âOh please, donât be so surprised.â Law blinked a few times and then decided to finally speak up. âWhyd didnât you just let them take us? It would have saved you quite some trouble.â
âDidnât you listen to anyting I have just said? Youâre a customer. I wonât let anyone bother my costumers.â you said simply. âAnd you donât scare, me, Mr. Surgeon of Death. I used to be a pirate myself, so nothing you could have ever done would frighten me.â You added.
Your explanation seemed to have been satisfactory and the crew let you go back to work. They were all still in disbelief about what had just happened.
After their meal, the Heart Pirates went to gather resources and stock up on food. This time they made sure to take more than they had estimated to need. Once they got everything they needed, they headed back to the Polar Tang, ready to continue their journey.
However, Law (and by extension, the crew) was brought to a halt when he heard a familiar sounding voice yell out. âWould you take your filthy hands off of me, you brute!â
Law noticed a muscular marine holding you, trying to restrain you. âStop fighting back, (Y/N). Youâre only making things harder for yourself.â You replied to the man by spitting in his face.
The marine was obviously getting impatient with you. â(L/N) (Y/N), you are charged with helping out wanted criminals and pirates. You are hereby sentenced to Impel Down for deliberately acting against the government.â He stated.
He finally managed to put a pair of handcuffs on you and pushed you forward to a marine ship that was waiting, ready to take you to the infamous prison. You sighed and walked along, knowing there was nothing you could do to prevent your fate at this point.
âROOM!â The noise startled you. The marines were sent flying backwards and were reassembled by none other than Trafalgar Law. You had heard stories of the Ope Ope no Mi, but you couldnât even imagine what it would be like seeing it at work up close. It was truly insane.
Law was actually kind of enjoying the panic his powers was causing. While the marines were distracted by their newly assembled bodies, Law went over to you and broke your handcuffs. âNow weâre even.â He said.
âWhy donât you join my crew, (Y/N)? You clearly canât stay here.â he offered. You shook your head. âNu-uh, I gave up on the piratesâ life.â you told him.
At this point, the marines had regrouped and had their target set on you. âDoesnât seem like you have much choice.â Law said with a chuckle as he headed over to the Polar Tang. You debated shortly before following him, knowing he was right.
Who knew an unfortunate even like this would lead to the best decision you would ever make in your life? Living the pirate life with Law was even better than you had imagined.
