☆Hello, my current w101 account is Beatrice StarSupernova! I'm a Storm main!! New to the fandom, but I've known about this game for a while!

I also play as Dreaming Beatriz Nightingale on p101!!

☆I played Wizard 101 like a decade ago as a little kid, then stopped, and then remembered that it was real a few months ago so I made a new account quite recently (cause I lost my old one womp womp..) Then I go on Tumblr one day and see that there is a fandom??! :D And y'all are so cool as well??

☆I wanted to interact with yall and post sooner, but I was busy with school sigh..🤧🤧The grind never stops!!

☆I'm still getting accustomed to the lore (via playing and videos/wiki), but so far Arc 1 itches my brain just right. :)) Other arcs are still good ofc!! I'll see what I like more in the future..

☆My favorite professor is Halston Baelstrom (im not being biased I promise hehe.)

☆Some of my favorite npc's currently are Penny Dreadful, Lady Oriel, Morganthe, the Drake family, Mortis, and some more that I can't think of rn.. (Random, but Lady Oriel is on this list cause little me was kinda attached to her lol.)

☆I think that's all? This game has been consuming my mind an unhealthy amount since Summer 2025. I really hope to get membership soon, but I'm lowkey broke rn, so we will see! 😋 Probably during my winter break.. (update again, I got membership!!)

So I know the sun and how it works in the Spiral has been something people theorise about for a long time so I wanted to throw the idea I just thought of into the pile.

So to start of we're just going to do a quick little explanation about why the Spiral can't have one or multiple traditional stars. This will be quick I promise. My main points here are just that if you know anything about stars you'd know that they're kind of fucking massive. Even if you subscribe to the idea that the worlds are much larger than what we see in game (which I do) there's just no way each one can have its own star. Especially when you consider that it doesn't take that long to sail from one world to another. I'm sure it's longer than the few seconds it takes in pirate101 but that's beyond the scope of what we're talking about here.

So what's actually going on with the sun or suns in the Spiral? Well, imaginary reader that I'm talking to, I'm glad you asked. We know that each world is contained in a sort of bubble. This is depicted both in maps of the Spiral and is something you can see in pirate. I'm pretty sure it was said somewhere that these bubbles are what give each world an atmosphere but I don't have a source on that and it's late so I'm not going to go digging for it. My thought here is that what if these bubbles are doing a bit more than just giving the worlds an atmosphere. We know that Bartleby was the one to hang the sun in the sky and what if that's... both literal and not. Like I said before, none of these worlds can have a literal star, but if anyone could put something in place to mimic the effects of one I'd say it'd be god. Basically basically if you haven't got what I'm getting at here, is that maybe each world bubble has a little mini sun-like enchantment on it. Whether it's a spherical thing or more like a png that moves across the world bubble as day turns to night... who knows? I kind of like the png idea now that I've thought of it.

But anyhow that's my idea. The sun is basically an illusion but it still does all the things a sun is supposed to do. And also each world has one.
