Abandoning This Blog

So, I've already more or less abandoned this blog, because it's kinda been made useless to me. I've made a new one that's mostly dedicated to my web manga, Children of The Dark Woods.

I don't really post that much here anymore, but anyone who is still hanging around Tumblr. I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm starting a new manga called "The Children of The Dark Woods" which is based on my vampire girl "Elena Lugosi" who loses everything and finds new purpose in giving child abusers what they deserve. I hesitate to call it a naturist manga, as that's really not the point of it, but it does include a lot of non-sexual nudity as I'm so keen to draw a lot. The manga is going to be in black and white with manga tones and lots of cross hatching for the shading as it's a horror and darker themed manga than what I typically draw. It is a story about child abuse and can get pretty heavy sometimes.

This really speaks to me. I'm like this over little things, like when I leave the dishes in the sink for a little too long and my roommates discover them.

My mom used to freak out and would break out in tears and yell at me if the dishes weren't done immediately or if I didn't put them away a certain way. Now just the sound of dishes clacking together makes me extremely nervous because of the way she'd frustratingly do all of the dishes if I hadn't done them 'in time'

This was made worse by the fact that my mom has fibromyalgia and her hands hurt like hell if she puts too much stress on them which washing the dishes in a frustrating manner would inevitably cause her more pain, which in turn made me feel like all of her pain was all my fault.

I'm now no longer living with my mother and I'm just bewildered when my roommates discover dishes in the sink and just shrug and say "Yeah just get to it when you can."

After that, I realized I had been emotionally abused for most of my life and I broke down in tears that night.

I wasn't expecting to make such a big post, it's really odd when you find a comic that really speaks to you on a personal level.

This week’s throwback, as the followup to Tira bingo, is the gradual downfall of Sophitia’s character design in Soul Calibur. 

Saddest part (beside Hilde being an easy proof that SC can do female warriors well if they want to) is that this is by far probably least absurd and demeaning female costume change out of many in the franchise. 

Remember when Taki exchanged her titninja full body condom for this… thing by Mari “Bayonetta isn’t sexist because a woman designed her” Shimazaki? Or almost anything Ivy wore after this? Yeah, they can and do get worse.
