Shiny Journal Entry #6

Name: Zygarde

Received: Pokemon Ultra Sun (Mystery Gift)

Date: June 19th, 2018

Notes: Oh boy, Zygarde, now this pokemon here is my most valuable shiny in my shiny collection. Why? Well, this is the one pokemon that was snatched by Team Rocket (my cousin.) As I stupidly left my Switch unattended, he had the brilliant idea to log onto Pokemon Sword and initiate a trade, leaving in place of my Zygarde a level 1 Litten. He eventually gave it back because there was no way I was gonna let him run off with Zygarde, and sure, at the end of the day, it's just different-colored pixels, but there's a principle to these things, ya know? If you wanna see my pokemon, all you gotta do is ask. Anyway, this is just something we laugh about these days because again, at the end of the day it's just a game, (but I no longer gift him free shinies.)

Caught: Pokemon GO

Date: May 31st, 2018

Notes: She was caught as a shiny aron alongside a bunch of other shiny arons, despite it not being a community day? (I guess it was an event, so shiny odds for arons went up.) Anyway, I really like shiny aron's red-eye look, but eventually I evolved Diamond to help assist me in raids. Once I caught other Pokemon with better stats, I decided to transfer her to Pokemon Sword so I could interact with her a bit more. She has a quirky nature and is capable of taking hits.

Caught: Pokemon GO

Date: March 17th, 2018

Notes: Found as a random encounter on Pokemon Go. Same deal as with SHINYYYYYYYYYY, I grinded to get this Swablu to an Altaria, which costs just as much candy. She has a hardy nature, it likes to fight! (You go girl!) Enjoys playing ball at the pokemon camp in Pokemon Sword, and chilling with the other flying types.

Date: July 20th, 2017

Notes: The second shiny I caught in any mainline Pokemon game. Same as Charloette, he was found while I was leveling up other Pokemon on Route 12. He has a mild nature and is curious. I planned on evolving him into a Slowking, but that never ended up happening. Now evolved into a shiny Slowbro, it's easy to tell he's indeed a shiny thanks to the purple on Slowbro.

Notes: First shiny pokemon I caught in any mainline pokemon game. At the time, she was caught as a shiny Croagunk who I found on Route 7 while leveling up other pokemon. She has a calm nature and is capable of taking hits. Also is a real sweetie to the younger pokemon when she plays with them at the Pokemon Camp.

Name: SHINYYYYYYYYYY

Caught: Pokemon GO

Date: March 25th, 2017

Notes: First shiny pokemon I caught on Pokemon Go and caught, ever. Was found as a shiny Magikarp after the Pokemon Go shiny update. (I don't remember if it was its own update or something that was included with the Gen 2 update?) Anyway, I found him while I was walking around my college campus with friends, and yes, they were jealous. I remember really working hard to evolve him with the 400 candy requirement, and eventually I got there or he wouldn't be the beautiful shiny Gyarados you see today. He has a bashful nature and is somewhat of a clown. Loves to play ball in Pokemon Sword's Camp.
