What can you tell us about the Teddiursa line? A friend of mine's kid is six and he really wants a Teddiursa as his first Pokemon, and I was wondering if they'd be a good starter for a kid his age? Should he wait until he's the recommended age of ten?

Okay, I’m practically legally obligated to say this: Pokémon are NOT toys. When getting one for a child in your life, you have to be ABSOLUTELY certain that the child will care for this Pokémon for the rest of its life. Too many Pokémon are left abandoned on the streets.

As for Teddiursa, I don’t see why not! Although it’s more common for starters to be a child’s first Pokémon, Teddiursa overall has a sweet disposition and would get along well with a child. As long as you make sure that he can care for it, it could be an excellent partner in years to come. Look up care methods and buy supplies before you go meet the Pokémon, and make sure you get one from a sensitive and humane breeder.

i don't run a pokemon blog so i don't think it would get much attention, but in a week or so i plan to do a rareball giveaway. i'm breeding 5IV Gothitas in Friend Balls. I might have a couple battle ready Gothitelles if people are interested. I'm not hacking or cloning or w/e so it'll be limited, but they'll be legit. So would you mind spreading the word?

I would suggest messaging one of the bigger names in give away I've only done one.

FLASH GIVEAWAY: CELEBRATE

Today is January 25 and it is now 8pm ET, so it’s time to party.

The Pokemon Bank has been updated and the GTS rules have apparently been tweaked, so to celebrate, we have, fittingly, Celebi! This is my 20th anniversary Celebi that has had its ribbon removed and been made shiny with Powersaves. It will not harm your game but please note that Celebi is shiny-locked and cannot be legitimately obtained without these methods.

That said, to get a pink onion, deposit a male Fletchling with the nickname MAYDAY. I am only accepting Fletchling for this giveaway. As usual, be as specific as possible when requesting (level only in this case) in order to prevent possible sniping, though I doubt anyone is going to be sniping this giveaway. If that happens, just redeposit.

You may have one per person and I have four boxes. I’ll trade until I run out or the Rangers game is over (usually around 11pm ET), whichever comes first.
