but at least home inspections are quarterly now so i wont have to see them for 3 more months

management got mad at us for there being residue at the bottom of the toilet and kept saying 'you can try to clean it up..', which yes, we could try, but its just going to come back. i already know its likely an issue with the wax ring and her suggestion of 'caulking it up' is not the perma solution she thinks it is

she also still refuses to properly acknowledge how the toilet is broken and loops flushing so bad we have to turn the water off entirely every time someone uses said toilet

every management person we get here realises 'oh wow, i have power over the lives of these poor ugly no money having disadvantaged poor people. this is funny!' and then fucks around with things like this. then wonders why none of the people living here like them

can i just. have a bed and a working toilet

Honestly, Tvyek is pretty miraculous. It’s permeable to water vapor but not to water, it’s nearly impossible to tear, but can be easily cut. It’s cheap and made entirely without binding chemicals. In addition to being used for wristbands, it’s used to wrap construction sites to keep out water during construction, for tear-resistant envelopes at Fed-Ex, coveralls for mechanics, and my wallet, actually.

Fun tip, though it looks like paper, Tyvek is plastic, and cannot be recycled with paper.

it has only been 2 days but i already miss having a bed

when we first moved to where we are now, we didnt have much of anything so i had to sleep on the floor then too, and it really started to make my back pain much worse

i hope the beds come today so i wont have to repeat that
