It is believed that this flower is created by Goddess of love, Aphrodite. Her tears and her lover’s blood flowed to the bed of roses. This symbolizes love till death. Hence, rose is associated with love.

Wedding dress is white for a reason...

The explanation is a European fashion trend. In 1840, Queen Victoria of England donned a white lace dress to marry Albert of Saxony. At that time, brides were married of any color (even black was popular). The queen's choice, however, inspired other brides to go white. In the 19th century, Godey's Lady's Book magazine issued an opinion: "Custom has decided that white is the most appropriate color for a wedding."

Ever wonder why bubble gum started pink?

As fate would have it, one day in 1928, 23-year-old Fleer gum factory employee Walter Diemer had pink food coloring on hand as he experimented with a new chewing gum recipe in his spare time. It obtained a less sticky and more flexible formula that allowed to make bigger balloons. He took the pink food coloring from the cellar, dyed a first batch of gum with it and thus created the favorite candy of young and old.

What do freelance graphic designers do?

The freelance graphic designers do like any graphic designers do. They conceptualise and develop arts graphic and visual materials to effectively communicate so the information contained in books, magazines, advertising, films, packaging, posters, logos, advertising and digital media, such as web pages. Except that they are their own boss and therefore would be more responsible and responsive towards their clients.

Graphic design tip 4: Give photos and headlines space in your design

Photos need space to do their full justice. Professional photographers in particular appreciate this very much. That also applies to headlines. So dare to give photos and headlines a lot of “white space”. This will give them the attention they likely deserve.

You can also increase the leading of texts and start a new paragraph every few lines. This also creates peace and space, making it easier for the eye to scan the page.
