So I had this sociology lecture of the differences of how working class and middle class children are raised - stuff like middle class parents discuss things with their kids while working class ones direct them, working class kids play with their siblings more while middle class kids have their free time organized.

Anyway I think part of the reason people have do much of issue with Molly Weasley is that her parenting style is one of a working class parent, instead of the middle class way presented as the best way in modern mainstream western society (not saying it is better, only its purported to be better by a middle class with control of mainstream culture).
