what she means: In Ice Age 5, why did the story become so heteronormative? Why did it force boys and girls into stereotypical situations? Everyone was trying to find their true love, ie: a creature of the opposite sex, they get married, Peaches survival skills are based almost solely on how well she can take care of potential children, and the men (father and son-in-law) don't bond until they start cooperating in something "manly" (pushing the boulder). Why did this come from the same franchise that initially gave us a dysfunctional family with one baby and three fathers?
