(Animated) Artfight attack on @kettle-bird with Jackass Jenny!!
Video game events of the near future.
practicing self care less out of self love and more for the sheer logical reasoning of it’d be kinda stupid of me to expect myself to be able to function without proper maintenance
“oh i don’t deserve rest and relaxation, i haven’t done enough, i haven’t earned it” and my car’s breaks don’t deserve break fluid because they aren’t breaking well enough to earn it. that’s what you sound like!!!!!
side note, teaching myself to pronounce that last one felt like learning a new fucking language
hey so uh next year will be a decade of dobonhonkeros. how about that shit huh.
writers and artists everywhere all the time
"Unicorn Overlord." "Triangle Strategy." "Octopath Traveler." "Bravely Default." These are not meant to be video game titles... These names are meant for racehorses.
People in the notes think I am making fun of video games. I am not. I am expressing appreciation for the names of horses. I am playing Pocket Card Jockey and naming my horses after JRPGs right now btw
Unicorn Overlord, Triangle Strategy, Octopath Traveler, Bravely Default -
Beautiful thoroughbred horses are galloping. My Tumblr notifs sustain an assault.
do you guys remember when we googled something and we would get results that were actually related to the things we searched
getting lost in boston is fun because I turned around on a street corner three times and some guy yelled "hey stupid! the bus is that way!" very helpful interaction and accurate insult, 10/10 no notes
one time I walked around a building a couple times looking for a bathroom and this guy went "this bitch thinks she's on a merrygoround, where the fuck are you tryna go? bathroom? one floor down to the right behind the door that says bathroom."
My very first time in Boston. I was absolutely miserable, trying to drag my giant suitcase up a lengthy set of stairs in the pouring rain. This guy who had already reached the top looked back at me with the most pure expression of disgust I’ve ever seen in anyone’s eyes, marched back down the stairs, grabbed my suitcase, carried it to the top, left it there for me, and walked away without ever saying a word. I think about him often.
For the people in the notes going "why is Boston like this": a) the insults are a way to show you have no ulterior motives when helping someone (and don't need to be thanked or repaid), and b) Boston was settled by the Irish
also the Italians. mixing Irish and Italian sociocultural attitudes had the effect of multiplying the Sass Levels by the power of infinity, in the sense that you get all of the clever dry wit of the Irish and all of the bitchy gossipy condensation of the Italians rolled into one very stereotypically overly-friendly American package.
also worth noting that who you are to them doesn’t matter. they’ll talk to strangers like that and will also talk to their best friends like that. they’re just Like That.

The absolute foaming mouth legend is back, AND HIS LEGACY CONTINUES NOW THAT HE HAS A GAL AND KIDS OF HIS OWN TOO.
Thinking about this impressively on-model drawing I did of Bender, from memory while high.
This guy got a credit card chip implanted in his hand so he could pay for stuff by tapping with his hand. That technology freaks me out. I'm just gonna implant a crisp five dollar bill
Where did the Sirens learn to sing so beautifully? It’s not like they can go to Juilliard or study music theory out in the open ocean. I’m gonna go ask
Hey, Katara. Hey, Aang.
