Yes? Self?
Satisfied? 🤔
Breakfast to satisfy the day?
Could be. Or maybe not.
Actually it's our choice. We decide to be contented. We also got depressed with little things.
Well, this just proves that we are human. We order in a restaurant then when the food comes we criticize saying it's not the same on the description. Whew!
We go to a tourist destination then upon arriving at the place we say it's dirty. Like what do we want now?
That's us. We also question the theory of existentialism. We ask why we exist. Who knows? Well you should know.
In the movie Bumblebee, one of the character said that his favorite quote is, 'The darkest night produces the brightest star. '
Are that someone to shine during challenges? Maybe. Maybe not. You decide.
Age doen't matter 🤷
I had my first born when I was 20. While my batchmates were already graduating. Was I envious? Absolutely, yes!
But I didn't care. Well, that's a lie. I cared so much. I self pitied.
But I had a cute little baby cheering up just like saying 'I am with you'.
That continued my life. I look for a job. I got employed with a good pay. I told myself 'This is not bad'.
I worked as a customer care representative then reservation sales specialist. The pay is enough to pay bills, buy everyday food and a little savings.
Then I realized, I can go back to school. My family supported my decision. I enrolled but not quitting my job.
I say hello to age gap with my classmates. But I got flattered everytime they say I look their age.
Continuing what you did not finish is not embarrassing. I say it's a bravery sacrificing a lot.
Take me there😉
I am afraid of heights. I am certain about that. I crawl everytime we walk on a single pathway going to my fathers garden on the other side of the mountain.
I declined all mountain hiking invites. I prefer going to the beach.
I tried my best to overcome my fear. It's not easy. I always tremble when I look down the ravine.
My feet are stucked. I can't move. Literally, I am shaking.
I know it sounds so funny but it's real.
Years past and my fear for heights didn't leave me behind. It's one of my loyal traits, unfornately.
I don't know. My mind wanted to go to Mt. Pulag or Mt. Ulap but then my body is resisting.
Well that's real life. It's like telling me 'You have limitations'. 'Prioritize other things'.
Well, sooner or later, I will walk those paths without shaking and trembling.
Interesting Interactions
Flowers bloom. People love those flower blossom. People adore its color, its fragrance and they even keep those flowers. But flowers wither as well. And people wouldn't mind about it anymore.
I thought people are like these flowers. People are being used while they're fresh and kicking. It's the truth. If a person can't fulfill his or her job he or she will be fired or asked to resign.
On the contrary, this reminded me of my manager who never got mad at me but made me realize what I've done wrong. This realization made me feel embarrassed of myself that I should have done better.
It's better to say critisms on a positive note rather than criticizing without suggestions.
Don't Hesitate
"Stand by your report". This is a message from Mr. Jonathan Llanes when we asked him 'What is your message to the future journalists? '. He said that as long as you have complete evidence and that you reported it with accuracy stand by it.
The same thing in life. We shouldn't hesitate. If in doubt, think again and ask experts.
Mistakes are inevitable but are great teachers and something that shouldn't be repeated. And on my observation, those who don't make mistakes usually are those inexperienced and pessimistic people. Those who are afraid of trying. Or maybe those who were really born lucky if there's such.
Second chances? Go for it. But it is also important to hear your loved ones' opinion. I assure you that. They will definitely give honest opinions.
There's absolutely a good future ahead. Stand by your choices and don't ever blame anyone.
Most importantly, don't hesitate but don't rush. Take your time and always think of doing the right thing.
Appreciate. Relax. Go on.
'Are you living your dreams?' That's the weirdest question I've ever asked. I asked that question to my older brother one late evening while we're talking about random things. He answered, 'what about living your dreams?' Then there's a few seconds of silence. "We are all living our dreams" he continued.
My brother loves to take photos and edit videos. He started those as part of his hobbies then turned out be part of his job. The job he has right now isn't the job he was expecting years back. But most of the time he comes home appreciating what he have. He treasures all the experiences he had because those he said made him what he is now. His one of the most optimistic and generous individuals I've ever known(well, he got it from our mom).
"'Living your dreams' depends on you". He added that to answer my question. He said that it depends on how an a person reacts to their lives.
Well, life isn't always how we wanted it to flow. My brother also always says 'Relax lang'. So in times that life isn't going your way, just ralax, take a break but keep going.
