This novel work examines the extent of plants’ awareness of their surroundings. The author, a medical doctor, speculates on several aspects of plant consciousness, including the existence of a nervous system. The author argues this point from several angles, stating that a plant’s nervous system is housed in a yet undetected organ, and that it must exist to govern all of the plant’s functions.

Shop full of @univpugetsound loggers printing wood type today as part of their immersion experience before the semester begins. While “You’ll Like Tacoma” is a classic, we freshened up with “Tacoma Makes Good Scents.” #tacomaart #tacomaaroma #letterpress #woodtype #bookarts https://www.instagram.com/p/B1r8DVQh7xL/?igshid=ydozevobg2n7

It’s Times New Roman but every seventh letter is jarringly sans serif
When book artists talk about book art
“Old bookstores are full of memories. Past readers. Dusty pages. Fingerprints and crumbling bookmarks. Stories that have touched so many minds.”
