grizz: aro, the idea of aro grizz is honestly very special to me I feel like there needs to be more aro/ace/aroace characters that are very friendly and extroverted with others. at least from what I've seen it's usually the like super introverted and closed off ones that are headcanoned to be that?? idk also he just feels very aro to me especially with complete lack of love interest through the show and I love that for him

panda: bi, probably leaning towards female preference! definitely would've taken him a while to figure out I feel. and there could be something with his gender I can sense it...I don't have any specific headcanon though

ice bear: unlabeled! honestly I don't have a solid headcanon for him and I don't feel like I need to bother---he's ice bear...ice bear knows no label restrictions of course... though I definitely feel on the aro spectrum and maybe like agender

Honestly I’m not a fan of Season 4. It doesn't even feel like wbb. The animation is mid, and that idol collab for the finale was a huge skip for me. I still haven't even watched it.(Daniel Chong mentioned Panda needed more character development, but he was such a brat in the last episode that I literally just shut my phone off. He’s actually less mature than he was in Season 1.) It’s so annoying that everyone only remembers the idol collab

also the movie was kinda disappointing. It felt like they cheaped out on the budget the animation was so inconsistent and the whole vibe felt nothing like the original wbb

Ice Bear lost his 'it factor' and the characterization went totally off the rails. They clearly tried to make them look 'cute,' but it just looks half-baked or something

The art style gap between the early seasons and the later ones is actually insane. Am I the only one who noticed(I know things can change a bit depending on the storyboarder, but this is a total downgrade I think……..)

I honestly don't get why no one mentions this. I lowkey kept it to myself because I didn't want to deal with fandom drama, but I've been trying to like it for four years and it's just not happening

The similarities these two share is crazy to me

1. Matching personalities being reserved, introverted and autistic coded

2. In a found family with louder more boisterous ‘brothers’ (Panda and Jay are also very similar and Grizz is a mix of Kai and Cole)

3. Ice themes- Zane has ice powers and it’s literally in Ice bears name

4. Similar backstories- grew up in an isolated snowy place raised by a lone old man in a small home

5. Learnt how to chop wood for that said old man with an axe

6. Robot themes- Ice bear builds robots and has episodes revolving around his robot vacuum and Zane literally is a robot

7. Ninja themes- Zane is a ninja and Ice bear is shown numerous times during his show acting like one

8. They are both good cooks and cook for their found families a

9. Wore a floral apron at some point during their respective show

10. Both were a Hibachi chef at one point too

11. Both had amnesia plots

12. Ice bear sleeps inside a fridge and Zane infamously was also just chilling in the fridge one episode

Genuinely when we come across anti endos I just think about all the plural folks near us in our local queer/kink/critter scene and how everyone just accepts the others experience without grilling

Like we went to a Kandi making picnic thing a year or two ago and there was probably 20ish critters. Packmate asks who's fronting when we are walking up there (after someone shouted that our ears made us look like a faggot /pos) and it starts a whole convo of folks bringing up their experiences with plurality and just casually chatting about it. Throughout that some mentioned things like trauma or stress effecting them, some mentioned that they created someone to help them operate, or keep them company, some brought up spirituality, some talked about diagnostic/therapeutic things.

It was just a wonderful conversation and it made us realize system exclusion is no different than literally any other community exclusive discourse. It is the same as transmedicalism, itis the same as excluding certain queer labels, it's the same as excluding certain alterhumans, etc.etc. because at the end of the day none of it fucking matters and you're just being a dick to these nice people trying to communicate their life experience because of your own fear and insecurity.

Nobody felt a need to jump on the people talking about creating alters to go "BUT THATS IMPOSSIBLE OR INSULTING TO ME ☹️" nobody felt a need to correct people for saying plural vs multiple vs system vs whatever other term they wanted to use, because the people in our community care more about individuals* than the labels they use.

I get heated online defending those I care about but at the end of the day I am incredibly blessed to be able to do that and log off to bond with those wonderful wonderful folks I'm defending irl. I can't take anything anti endos say seriously because I actually speak with all sorts of plural people and see that they are just like me. It is only more division and infighting over insecurity and it is incredibly sad.

Anyways ramble over. I just got sappy and now I'm reminiscing. We need to write more about our irl interactions, I feel like it may be important for archiving too

Blinkie.World preview!

Here is a preview of Blinkie.world, my blinkie collecton site! The goal here is to collect every blinkie on earth (but only if they're free to use, and can be credited). They're all sorted into these color pages, and also sorted into tons of sub categories on other pages (like food, animals, holidays, etc etc). This is what some of the color pages look like now! Once I have at least 300 blinkies in each color, then I'll consider the site full enough to go live! I'm aiming to get it online by Art Fight (aka by July this year).

Do note that this isn't actually an accurate representation of how many I have. I have thousands more than this! I just have to code them all in. It's not as quick as just an image tag and a link, because it also needs to be named, linked to it's source, tagged so I know what categories they're in, have a link to a screenshot that proves who the creator is and their terms (in case the credit link dies one day), have alt text, and have hover text which says the creator and a description of what the blinkie says! So, it's not like this:

And that's for every blinkie! You can probably see how this is so time consuming, but I think it's worth it. I've never seen a blinkie collection with 6,000+ blinkies, much less every single one credited, and even less sorted into dozens of categories! It's like I have a blinkie for everything, while also knowing the creator of each, and being able to easily search for a specific one via the sorting system! It's especially good for helping others find blinkies, and helping people get the sources for blinkies they already have! It's also great for finding blinkies to use for your ocs (which is my initial reason for doing this).

I'm very excited about this. I really think this could be a very fun resource for people, and that aside, I just really like having so many in my possession. I love to see them. I even have blinkies that I've downloaded before they were deleted off the internet! That's very exciting to me. I have blinkies that are straight up lost media, and I'm happy to be able to preserve them.

Of course as I said, it's going to take forever to add them all, but I'm chipping away at it. I shall not be stopped! Also, if you want a blinkie in any of these screenshots above, just let me know! I'll get it and it's source for you, easy peasy! I'll post more screenshots as significant progress is made, but for now, it's back to downloading blinkies!

I think we don’t talk enough about how Two seems to assume what everyone wants. It’s actually a really good character flaw but I never see anyone talking about it-

My main example of this is with Clock and Winner. Two sees that they’re having issues and wants to help, so they let Clock stay in the kitchen. They never considered that Winner might’ve been uncomfortable with that, they never considered that they shouldn’t meddle in other people’s drama, they just saw an issue and wanted to fix it.

We’ve seen them doing this since the very first episode they appeared in. They took 40 of Four’s contestants! Why didn’t they just wait until the season was over? Did they do it because they hate Four? Were they trying to hurt his feelings? No! They just… Wanted to host a show.

They weren’t thinking about how their actions may affect others, they just saw an opportunity and took it. Why go through the trouble to FIND contestants when Four had already found so many? They were just trying to save themself some trouble, not even thinking about how Four would feel.

A more recent example is when they gave Gaty a job in the kitchen. Of course, she was happy about it, but it doesn’t change the fact that they never ASKED if she wanted to work there. They were sad about her elimination and decided to keep her there. Sure, she was fine with it, but it’s also what led to her eventually being kidnapped.

I just. I love Two very much, and I don’t think they’re a bad person. This isn’t a Two hate post or anything. Just. They have character flaws, please recognize them ^_^

Felt the need to come back to this one after TPOT 19, because Two is. Kind of actually realizing their own flaw now, and is doing the exact opposite.

Before, Two was always doing things on a whim. Whatever they wanted. Whatever would make themself happy. They were nice and genuinely wanted to help, but the way they went about it was selfish and sometimes causes issues. This culminated into them placing Gaty in the kitchen rather than the proper elimination area, which eventually led to her kidnapping.

Two, feeling guilty for what they did, has now shifted to the extreme opposite. Instead of doing whatever they feel is right, always trying to help even when they haven’t been asked, Two is now doing NOTHING. They are staying RIGHT where they are and not doing anything to help, not just because they’re just too depressed over their best friend’s disappearance, but because they’ve realized their flaw and are trying so hard not to ruin things again. Even as the world is ending around them, they can’t shake the guilt over what they did, even if their intentions were good.
