Okay, I've wanted to post this for a while. I remember seeing theories that the Bullfrog's full name was Bullfrog Korvik Junior or variations of that name, implying that his mentor was a crow. So, here's how I imagine him

Korvik is a crow hybrid who was part of the Brotherhood. After raiding a lab and freeing other hybrids, he ends up becoming attached to a tadpole who had no one else and, with no choice but to take care of it, he is very reserved and serious, sometimes even quite grumpy. Despite this, he is very sweet and loves his son, trying to protect him until the end of his life
