HI! I saw someone ask u what editing programs you used, and I wanted know anyway so I tried using Pics Art. But I don't know how to actually create something. Sorry I know you're not technical support or anything but I can't figure it out. Thank you ( In advance) I'd be very grateful. :) x Ps love your blog

Hey anon! Don’t worry about it.

To edit on pics art you open the app and then at to bottom on the screen there’s like an orange square with a + sign in it. Click on that and you’ll get all your pictures from your camera roll there.

If you want to create a grid with lots of photos on that’s the middle grey button but if you just want to edit a photo click on that photo and click the tick in the top left corner and you’ll be taken to an editing page where you can add filters, text, shape masks. Lighten the picture change eye colour and you can add pictures to the picture if you want. Also thank you 😘

You have to make that decision for yourself and I hope you’ll stay.  But Connie hate?   I don’t think so.   Seriously, one or two people don’t like her but you’ll find that even when people disapprove of her actions it’s because they care about her.   She’s honestly one of the best-loved characters in the series according to this site.

Well please just leave then. There’s no one here that is generating anything even resembling hate but you. Your inability to take even slight criticism of your favourite characters and understand that other people are allowed to express their own opinions and are not necessarily ‘hating’ on a character but rather looking on a situation objectively and not putting the characters on a pedestal as you seem to like to do is beyond childish and frankly really fucking grinding on mine and everybody else’s nerves. Criticism isn’t the same thing as hate. Grow up and close the door on your way out. 👋

Honestly @charliefairhead is right. Personally, I love Connie to bits, I’ve grown up watching her, but she does have her flaws. Every character does. That’s what makes them so relatable. You take criticism way too seriously. There’s no hate for Connie going around, just some different opinions to yours. Can we not do this? Please?

I’m not saying she doesn’t have flaws? I could point them all out to you in a heartbeat, actually. But as I’ve already said numerous times, I’m not even on about people’s opinions or criticism. I’m not even saying people can’t criticize her or have opinions. I’m just saying that seeing so many people reiterate the same thing over and over again is getting me down [pardon if my definition/usage of the word hate differs from your own but that’s no reason for everyone to lash out over it]. Am I not allowed to feel that way? Am I not allowed to express my feelings/opinions on my own blog? Am I not allowed to feel miserable/disheartened/upset that the negativity around my favourite character currently outweighs the positivity? Because that’s basically what everyone’s implying.

You say “I’m not saying people can’t criticise her” however that is the extent of what people have done and you are still upset and annoyed with people. If you let it be, this is a wonderful fandom that, despite differences of opinion, gets along well. It is a family. There can be disagreements or negativity towards a character but it is never personal nor meant to upset. It is meant to be a conversation between mature people who enjoy a show and like to converse about it. Nobody has said you aren’t allowed to feel the way you say you do, we are just all confused as to why.

@araliaeshade: I’m allowed to be upset over criticism. Just as a heads-up, I’m not annoyed at the criticism, more or less this giant mess of crap on my dash. I’m allowed to be disheartened, upset and, um, there was this other word that I forgot, over criticism. That applies to anything I love that gets criticized; my own work, favourite characters, favourite shows, opinions, books etc. Not everyone takes criticism well, it’s a way of life, and I’m one of those people although I do respect that people are allowed to criticize/dislike something. It’d be a different story if I was saying they were wrong or all idiots, which I’m not. All my original post says is that I didn’t really want to be in the fandom at that particular minute and was considering leaving/taking a break because all the criticism was getting to me. And I’m going to bold this bit because everyone seems to ignore it when I say it: your definition for hate probably differs from mine but I have a habit of meshing words together so I label criticism and negativity as hate. I’m used to not having to elaborate on things/my words because the majority of my followers have followed me from the beginning and instantly get what I mean, okay?

I have to say that’s what got to me too @astoundingwonderland. I’ve typed and deleted and rewritten and deleted again umpteen different replies to that and then just gave up because it is a waste of breath or pixels, or whatever it is we’re currently wasting!

@oldpalegoth is the loveliest person and meant only kindness with her comment. It’s the tags as much as anything that are mean-spirited with pretty-little-heart-surgeon as soon as she feels aggrieved.

^^ I agree with all of the above - I adore Connie, I think she’s a brilliant character but she has got flaws. Another example - my favourite character is Lily and I know that she is often a complete cow and totally socially inept - that’s what makes these characters and the show so enjoyable! I resent the generalisations being made about the Tumblr Casualty fandom - we rarely ever have disagreements that are personal - yes we have debates about characters and storylines but I think everybody does respect each-others opinions and are friends regardless. For example, I don’t ship Freechamp and I never have - but yet diehard shippers @charliefairhead and @casualtyfanaic are two of my closest friends in this fandom. You can’t suddenly change other people’s minds about their opinions, that’s just not how life works. Sometimes it’s good to open your mind to how other people think instead - I found this with the Dyfty ship and the wonderful people (@trekkiel, @dyfty-oneshots to name a couple of them) who introduced me to the ship and opened my eyes a bit. I don’t know of a single member of this fandom who will go out of their way to create conflict or make others feel unhappy - and perhaps if there are people who feel that way, they need to think about how they’re treating the people they interact with.
