I cannot be the only one who thinks Max looks similar to Steph….

Some people are like,” Just because they both have short brown hair doesn’t mean they look the same.”

That’s true but even their features look pretty similar. Maybe I’m tripping but I mean cmon…

I’m not even kidding. I think the writers made Asami too perfect.

Name one character flaw. I’ll wait…

Don’t come at me, but I think Asami’s the most wholesome person in the entire series. Uncle Iroh is also very wholesome, but I believe he became that way through the pain and experiences in life. Asami knew right from wrong from the start and gave up basically her life just to “do the right thing.”

SPOILERS: Has anyone thought about how awkward it probably was at the city council meeting (chapter 5) when Steph and Diane saw each other? At this point Diane knew Steph was only flirting with her to steal the USB. It literally happened the day before. Steph probably walked in, saw Diane, and said maybe like one word to her. And I bet the rest of the townspeople felt the awkward tension too lol. I can’t imagine how embarrassed Diane must’ve felt bec she was highkey really into Steph’s flirting (don’t blame her) all to find out that they were just using her. Honestly kinda sad, but she kinda deserved it.

Side note: seriously tho... I’d have the same reaction if Steph flirted with me. And dayymmnn Steph’s got some serious BDE... I’d probably go into cardiac arrest.

Spoilers: Here’s a little edit in honor of October 11.... yeah.

In LIS I chose to save the Bay (sue me). I mean if I put myself in Max’s shoes I couldn’t bear to know I could’ve saved all those people. I love Chloe, I just knew that so many people would lose their loved ones too. And now seeing that Steph lost her mom and Mikey lost Drew everything’s just more real. And these were just two characters. After playing Wavelengths I’m more confident with my decision. I played Wavelengths twice to see both outcomes and while the sacrificing Chloe is obviously painful, sacrificing the bay hit a lot harder for me.

Playing as a protagonist it’s hard to put yourself into the shoes of the NPCs. I loved this DLC because we got to see Steph’s personality a little more and the trauma that’s she’s been through. I’ve heard a lot of comments saying that Steph has no depth, but that’s because we’ve only seen her as a NPC. Playing TC then Wavelengths gave us a lot of insight to Steph and it just shows how much she’s grown as a character. We know that she had a problem with flaking when things got rough. Hell, the small things like how she didn’t speak at the funeral of Chloe and Rachel but when Gabe dies she’s able to. She also takes her experience of coming out of trauma and wants to help other people like Alex with theirs. In TC we see her apologize to Alex when she storms out of the apartment. Steph is such a strong character. She doesn’t feel like she deserves anything for the tragic things that have happened to her. Instead she used her awful experience in life and used them for good. So all you people who say Steph is shallow and has no personality... you can eat a rock.

So I learned something interesting about Steph’s tattoo and the symbolism behind it. It’s quite cool actually. [SOME SPOILERS]

Steph has a swallow bird on her chest.

1. Swallows represent freedom and travel. In this scene Steph is ecstatic to finally get to travel and see the world again. She’s a free spirit, whose first instinct is to go out and explore and go on new adventures. Steph doesn’t care about what others think (hence being a free spirit). She’s confident in herself and who she is.

2. Swallows also represent loyalty and fidelity. They are know for choosing a “mate for life.” And symbolize everlasting love. This is fitting for obvious reasons, but one of which can be seen in the last chapter at the meeting. When Alex comes in and tells everyone what had happened, Steph is the first one to believe her and speak out. It doesn’t matter who you romanced or who else was on your side. She was the first, without any hesitation. Steph is loyal to the end, unapologetically.

3. Lastly, this kinda ties into the last one but swallows represent care and selflessness to family/loved ones. Like I said they mate for life. They love to adventure and explore, yet always make sure their family is okay. We can see this throughout the game, but one case in point is in the second episode. While everyone was fighting during the wake, Steph notices Alex is upset. She puts Alex before herself and goes to check on her, making sure she’s okay and to just be Alex’s support. This is even before her and Alex had developed much of a relationship too.

Now we obviously don’t know why she got it bec they don’t tell us, but it perfectly describes her character and behaviors.

SPOILERS: LIFE IS STRANGE TC⚠️⚠️

Steph tho... I literally love her even more. She so funny and sarcastic. We find out that she’s really competitive and kinda a perfectionist.

Here’s a few recap moments. Steph curses so much now lol... it’s kinda hot.

1. “Holy sh*t! You own a skirt”

2. “F*ck those guys”

3. Alex: “My hand in marriage. And all of its associated benefits.” *Steph glances down*

4. “F*ck yes. In your face.”

5. “Yeah. F*ck that. If anyone needs to apologize it’s me”

6. “You mean the f*cking world to me”

7. And if you’d rather stay here instead, then f*ck it. I want to stay here too.

8. “So are you into girls or what?”

9. “F*cking finally. The house of Chen crumbles at last”

10. “F*ck that. I don’t need to take this.”

(Okay but this scene made me rethink my life choices.)
