Unwanted Encounters
“Friends don’t try to kill each other!” she exclaimed in frustration, obviously bothered by his claim. “They’re gonna hate me if they find out about you.” About what she did for him, moreso.
An eye-roll was received when Bill reminded her who he was. “Ugh, I know what you are. And you’re still a bad demon person thing,” she replied, simply. However, it seemed his comment about Waddles got through her - a gasp passing her lips before her expression turned hard. “…You wouldn’t dare,” she stated, jabbing her pointer finger in Bipper’s direction. “He counts as family, too, y’know!”
The hug was both unexpected and unwanted. leading to Mabel immediately trying to push Bipper away lightly. “Gah, bad–!” …Wait a second..
“…Hey, Bill - you can hug me or be my friend or whatever if you promise to be quiet or go outsi–”
“What’s with the racket, sweetheart?” a voice could be heard from another room. “I’m tryin’ t’ watch baby wrestlin’.”
….Shoot.
Bipper froze when he heard Stan’s voice. He hated that man. Considering the fact that he was busy dealing with Mabel, he might as well leave the old man alone. With that, he cupped his hands around his mouth and shouted,
“We’re just over here doing boring teenager stuff, you old man!”
Hopefully that would keep Stan from saying anything else. He turned to face Mabel and said,
“Listen, kid. You’d better keep quiet about me being here. After all, I’m only grabbing a snack. You don’t want anything bad happening to your family already, do you?”
With that, he flipped open the cupboards and continued to rummage around. He was hungry and there was a lot of food to be had there. Finally, he turned to the fridge and got out a Pitt cola.
“Ha! My favorite human soda!”
Mabel was quiet as Bipper piped up in response to her grunkle, sounding to earn a chuckle from the old man in the other room. But with Bill’s quiet little threat to her, she seemed to grow more than a little worried.
“...Haha, right! Nothing wacky or dangerous going on, here! Ha, ha...” she called as well. She hated having to bend to Bill’s whims, but she didn’t exactly have a choice. She’d already messed things up with him once... She couldn’t let it happen again.
