You should make an anti-fanta chan that's drawn in as radically different style as you can.
Art is difficult, and focusing on 'improving' can be harrowing; Instead, maybe see that goal as expressing pride in yourself. There's lots of variety to art, just like there's lots to you too.

Jokes aside, the reason I haven't made another fanta chan drawing is because it's incredibly stressful to do.
I only get one shot to draw her every year and so that means there's a lot of pressure to do well. Fanta Chan represents my progress in art and if the drawing isn't as good as last year's, then that says my art is getting worse and that I'm just another slop artist who only gets attention because there's titties in the drawing.
I know it's a bit silly and it's just a drawing, but it's just super emotionally rough for me. Feels like I always have to one up myself, but I don't know if I can do that anymore.
Sorry for the heavy trauma dump, I hope you all can forgive me if I don't end up drawing her this year!

So please do whatever's best for your mental health, no reason doing it if it only makes ya feel worse!

What are your favorite brushes? Which ones did you use for your haru urara piece?
For most of my art, I use Pencil (Rough) and Fluffy Watercolor. Then for art without linework, I use Acrylic (Wet). The trick is to use the brush as if you were actually painting, so often merging layers and allowing the brushstrokes to be a little more natural.
I use medibang btw!
