Best thing happened today!!!

So I work part time as a shop assistant to earn extra money for college. Mostly I don't mind the looks I get from people being surprised at my height. However, this one male student with his friends came up to me and asked 'Whats the weather like up there .' He clearly said this to provoke my feelings and embarrass me, just like all men as they clearly are threatened by taller women. Instead of being intimidated I instead spat on his face and said 'It's raining.' The man was so embarrassed he walked straight away with all his friends laughing at him. A sweet old lady even congratulated me on what I did. So the lesson learned is whenever anyone says 'Whats the weather like up there?' they clearly need to be taught this is altophobic and so you should therefore spit on them and say 'it's raining' to teach them not to do this again.

Compartmentalising People of Height and forcing them into sports is oppressing them. This is also ableist in demeaning those who aren't able to engage in sports.

Short Privilege is not having your legs squashed in planes and sustaining serious injuries by it

Last year during spring break, me and a few of the gals took a plane to New York. To put things in perspective, we're all on the plus-size height-wise, and not afraid to show it, going from 5'11 to me at a luscious 6'5. We've all had a few dirty looks in public before, and of course heard little children ask their parents why we're such "giants". But this time, it was worse: the level of altophobia was sickening.

It all started when, after an exhausting morning of queueing, I discovered that I simply could not fit into my seat: My legs were too long. I pressed the button for the flight attendant, who took could barely hide her laughter at me. I told her there was no way that my legs could fit in. She told there was nothing she could do so I was forced to endure the whole flight with my legs squashed. This severely hurt my knees and I was unable to do any physical activity for a whole week. Why should it be that only short people can sit comfortably on planes?
