[ARCHIVE] All Day High Convertible Prototype Introducing “All Day High Convertible”. Our designer @pmg_000 hand crafted this original prototype from start to finish. The All Day High is a shoe the PMG Team envisioned to be worn all day and from work to the gym to a night out. Inspiration was drawn from classic American Boxing training sneakers but then enhanced with PMG New York’s luxury design themes. This shoe features: Vegetable Tanned Leather upper, a “stitch-less” black Cap Toe in 2.5 mm thick leather, elongated tongue, suede logo emboss, signature, P logo tab at the back, black rubber Italian outsole, and raw unlined edges that highlight the simplicity of natural materials The All Day High also has an unexpected feature. It’s “convertible" meaning there are 2 different methods of closure. You can use the traditional “lace up” method or alternatively use the zipper insert for a more edgy aesthetic. PMG New York uses the finest accessories the laces are ultra-luxurious waxed laces, the zippers are authentic Italian Zippers (@ririzippers) . The contrast of light tan and black leather will become more subtle over time. The shoes’ simplicity will become more complex with time. With each wear, the vegetable tanned leather develops a rich darker brown patina and modifies to the shape of the wearer’s feet. What you see now is just the beginning point in the evolution of a luxury sneaker.
