You're a Demon Hunter. A rather good one. Unfortunately, a demon has possessed your husband's body. You know it's your duty to kill the demon and free him. But he's way sweeter and kinder than your annoying pos of a husband. He loves cooking and he actually likes your hobbies. Don't fall in love!

After further investigation, turns out you got it backwards.

Your husband was possessed by a demon for the bulk of your marriage. It was a long-game scheme to gradually grind your resolve and strength to dust beneath the heel of an abusive relationship, but the sweetheart golden retriever of a man you fell for at the start managed to repel the possession on his own out of sheer outrage for what the demon puppeting his body was doing to you.

You feel awful for not having noticed sooner but your husband laughs it off as he kisses your cheek and plates up some pancakes for you. He doesn't blame you for not noticing the shift in his behavior the first time and assuming demonic possession, but he is worried over how easily you accepted that treatment.

This man--who had been possessed for six and a half years--wants you to go to therapy so you can work on your sense of self-worth.

You agree, but only if he also seeks counseling for himself from one of your colleagues who specializes in post-possession recovery. Even if he's back to himself, you 1000% don't buy the whole "I'm fine" act with the amount of lives you've seen shattered by a much shorter possession.

It took embarrassingly long, but you finally have the love of your life back. No force from the pits of hell or the shadowed corners of his own psyche is going to take him from you again.

Hi if you ever find yourself in a relationship saying anything along the lines of "well I can't leave cause I would never be able to find something better than this because I'm trans/fat/aging/antisocial/unlucky" I beg of you to run. “Cats don’t actually love you”

A cat is a small creature in the middle of the food chain that is fully aware that you are a very large thing that could stomp its head in at any moment and yet it chooses to rest its tiny little head on your leg for a nap and spreads out on the floor near you exposing its belly and its most sensitive organs. It brings dead mice and bugs to you to share food.

Don’t you get it? This tiny thing trusts you. It wants to help you too. It licks your leg thinking that it’s helping. It kneads on you to find comfort. It shares its body warmth with you in the cold and gives you your space in the heat. It hisses at other mammals it sees outside including other cats in an effort to protect its family.

Cats love you so so much. But they will keep trying to eat plastic.
