Hey was anyone gonna tell me Mary Shelley had multiple miscarriages. I feel like that adds some context here. Beyond the obvious about like expectations of women at the time and so on and so forth. Like yeah she Would have thoughts about the horror of creation. Was reading up a little on her personal life to fact check and it seems the number of times she miscarried is debated but at least once, with one alive baby dying before she first wrote Frankenstein, followed by a few other children dying and her at least one miscarriage between different editions being published. There's also a lot going on with her relationships with her own parents & her mental and physical health that are all very, like.... Yeah that makes sense
