This is my art blog that’s mostly fandom oriented, but I also post stuff with my own ocs here too

Asterix and Obelix beloved

This is the first time I've ever put together a proper cosplay, and even though parts of the process were super tedious I'm really happy with the final result!

I also brought my King Candy ita bag to top the whole thing off (I don't think I've ever shown it before but here it is)

Notes and wip pics under the cut:

I already had the clothes I needed for the base of the cosplay, but the most important part was the jacket. I had to seam rip the fur cuffs and lapel in order to dye them blue and then reattach it. I also made a bunch of clay sprinkles that would be sewn onto the coat and hat.

The icing was done with round blue ribbon that was super annoying to attach (I had to use a mix of sewing and fabric glue in order to speed up the process but also hold it in place better). I forgot to add the icing seams to the pants but oh well

I had a lot of help with putting this cosplay together, and I was learning a lot of sewing stuff on the fly since I haven't done it in so long, but I'm happy that I finished it in time and that the whole thing turned out so good

Thought it be fun to draw Asterix as a mer. Maybe he took the wrong potion or something. Obelix! on the other hand didn’t listen. thinking fishing Asterix out rather then carry Asterix in a bucket back to the village. So Getafix can fix the problem.. 

Oh the plus side..

At least he can enjoy Unhygienix’s smelly fish lol 🐟
