Hey howdy hey have a sweet as Honey Day!

You can call me Bee! 🐝 I made this account specifically for self ship shenanigans, but may share other stuff about my fixations and interests too. 

My main f/o is Odlaw (Specifically from the Where’s Wally 1991 cartoon!) I fell in love with him incredibly quickly upon discovering and watching the show, he fits the mold of one of my favourite types of fictional men: pathetic, moustache, trying to be all villainous and scheming but failing entirely at it. I’m being very brave sharing this side of me, so please be kind! He means a lot to me and has brought me a lot of comfort, and I cherish him so much! I know others appreciate him too, and consider myself at least for the time of writing this, sharing with him. I would love to meet and talk to others who appreciate him as I do, if you would welcome me to do so. 🐝🖤💛

Before we get too into things, here are a few ground rules/boundaries I’m setting for my own comfort! 

Only interact with me if you are 18+ While I wouldn’t post anything too explicit here some things may be suggestive from time to time! 

While I am sharing with Oldaw, I would appreciate if my own posts about my yume/selfship aren’t derailed to be about others . I will of course mutually do the same! Or not do rather? Haha x3 

Be kind! I’m very anxious to be sharing this side of myself. We are all cringe and free here, if you come into this space to be mean to myself or others in this community you will be blocked! 

I’ve been in fandoms for many years and I’ve peered in at self shipping communities for awhile now (I have dabbled with self ship in my youth, I’ve played these games before!!) but this is my first time feeling confident enough to post more publicly about it. I’m still learning a term here or there, but ultimately I’m doing this as it brings me comfort and joy, so again I ask for kindness! 

While I made this account with the main purpose of posting self ship content, I may yap on about my general fixation on Where’s Wally! And in future may share and talk about other interests or self ship, for now I am very Odlaw brained hehe.

Also because I can’t think of anywhere to put this, while I grew up in the States I now live in the UK and know and refer to the franchise as Where’s Wally. It’s what everyone else in my life refers to it as so I’ve found it feels more “right”

Huzzah! Odlaw and Bee’s Pokemon teams! Now forgive me as I ramble about each choice/the decisions behind the overall team compositions for the two!

Odlaw’s team. They essentially all follow his lead of being mischievous thieves and scheming baddies. I mostly put dark types or mons that had dark typing as one of their types in the case of those with two. Thievul is the most obvious choice, it’s in the name it’s got moustache. Sableye I could see stealing lots of gems and shiny things. Morgrem was just perfect, literally a mischievous little gremlin. Also both of them can have Prankster as an ability and Morgrem can have Frisk or Pickpocket, perfect Pokemon for a thief! Weavile also has Pickpocket as a hidden ability, it’s got vile IN its name, and many Pokédex entries describe it as devious! Stunky is a stinky little guy, gross little creature that I think would fit into the team nicely, and having a dual poison type would add to the good villainous line up! And finally Gimmighoul, which I imagined might be a fun addition since it’s always looking for gold coins. I had a little idea for lore that it only ever tried to steal coins from other Gimmighoul’s chests, but never was successful so it would never be able to evolve fully. I imagine the whole gang always trying and failing to steal from Pokemarts and other trainers but…always failing Team Rocket Style. Also the idea of them occasionally trying to join the evil teams from all the regions and again failing their schemes and plans. (Note to self draw Odlaw in various villainous Pokemon team outfits)

Bee’s team I went with an overall Fairy theme! (Zorua being the exception) Ribombee of course is her Poke sona so of course she’d have one (Also see her often surrounded by a swarm of Cutieflys). Audino was because shes always trying to help out/heal Odlaw, I wanted her team to mostly be a “healer” vibe. Of course thats why I also chose Comfey, which has a healing ability and it’s Pokédex entries say it has healing and calming properties. Togekiss is also one of my fave Pokemon, and can learn healing moves, and just suits Bee’s vibe I think. Mimikyu I chose since it is sort of disguising itself as something else, and considering Bee can chance her shape to disguise and hide too, along with the fairy typing to fit into the overall team, it was just perfect. Finally Zorua, that while a dark type, she’d love and cherish and protect as well as the rest of the team one, and of course the oc that can change shape would have the illusion shape shifting Pokemon too!

I imagine most scenarios play out that Odlaw and his team try to put into motion schemes and cause mayhem and mischief and thievery, but of course don’t get very far and wind up injured and many of his team faint. Bee and her team of course feel bad for them and help patch them up and heal them while gently scolding them for their bad deeds. They don’t really think they will have much luck on changing there ways though, but will always be there when they need help recovering!

Hope everyone enjoyed the yap. I hope to draw more of this au soon, I may try and build some teams for some of my other characters/maybe make Pokesonas for them too! :D

Pokemon Go Fest is this weekend and has me mega Pokémon brained so I finally drew Bee and Odlaw’s Pokemon selves that I’ve had rattling around my brain for ages now!

Thievul is just the most Odlaw coded Pokemon EVER. Moustache, a thief. British…..

Bee is Ribombee! Fun fact, Ribombee are based on Bee Flies, which aren’t actually bees. But they are just so cute and I think suit Bee so well….

I am also working on making art of these two as trainers with Pokemon teams but it’s been taking longer since I’ve been thinking deeply about their team builds. But I do hope to have that out soon hehe.

A part of me really wants to share what the teams I came up for Odlaw and Bee now but I don’t want to accidentally give my brain the satisfaction before I finish the art. I always try to keep art ideas under wraps because I worry if I say I’ll draw something I’ll never actually get around to it.
