CALLING ALL NINJAGO ARTISTS!!

I'm currently hosting a Ninjago art competition in my Ninjago Discord server!! After a successful competition being hosted a little over a month ago, I'm really looking forward to what you and other artists can create!

PROMPT

This competition will test your creativity!! You are tasked with designing a Villain/Hero Swap AU for a character of your choosing!! If you're confused, you will essentially pick a hero character (like Kai, Egalt, P.I.X.A.L, Wyldfyre, etc) and turn them into a villain OR pick a villain character (Lord Ras, Beatrix, Pythor, etc) and turn them into a hero! It can be any character you wish so long as they appear in the Ninjago series. Some villains in the show do turn good or have a good alter-ego side (eg. The Quiet One and Princess Harumi), but you are still free to design a hero aspect for them, just do not copy an already existing design :)

The winner will receive a physical copy of the "Strike of the Serpentine" comic as well as a $10 Ninjago LEGO set of their choosing (from the choices bellow)!!

I decided to redraw one of my old Legends of Chima OCs :D He's a character I made back in 2017 when I was 14. I've renamed him to Lucian (previously Lundor) and gave him a bit of an upgrade compared to the first design I gave him when I was a kid (on the right). I may decide to revisit his story but I'm usually quite busy so there's a 50/50 chance it doesn't happen. Let me know what you guys think :D

I also have a Ninjago Discord server with a small but awesome community! We are extremely close to 100 members and I'll be doing a 2 month Nitro giveaway at 150 members! I just finished hosting an art competition and will definitely be hosting more in the future so stay tuned for future events <3

I drew the Mutation Monster for the Art competition on the Dragon Shrine discord Server (Link at the end of the Post)

Can't wait for it To get defeated by wyldfyre in Dragons Rising Season 4. Loved the Trailer and in terms of fighting Lego Animation is at its Peak right now I feel like. It started with Wus fight in Crystalized wich was the only good Thing about the season but for that it was amazing and now in the Trailer I Love those Shorts of Wyldfyre and Euphrasia.

Of course Here is a Version with Wyldfyre in the Forengrund. At First that should be the picture but the Mutation Monster Looks so good with the shading and stuff I did and I can't figure out making Wyldfire look this good. Wonder where she got that staff from and why she didnt use her powers in the fight If she seems to have Had them in the other shot from the scene.

Hello friends,

I have held onto this news for a while now, hoping that we could reverse it, change it, make something good out of it. But sadly I don’t think that’s possible right now.

It’s with a heavy heart that I tell you Dead End is over.

Obviously, we never wanted this to be the case.  In fact, we did a writers room for Season 3.  We have scripts and designs and outlines ready to go.  It was always the plan to give these characters the proper ending they deserve.   But sadly, the powers that be don’t want any more. 

Honestly, we were lucky to make it through everything happening in the last few years.  And I want to emphasize my gratitude to Netflix for commissioning the show and for giving us the freedom to tell this story.  We made history together and I couldn’t be prouder of those twenty episodes and every single member of our crew.

I want to give a huge thank you to the fans.  Your art, cosplay, fic, reactions, TikToks and every interaction with me has been a delight.  I never could have dreamed of a warmer response.  I’ve been so anxious to post this news thinking about you lot.  I hope you’ll be ok. 

So… a sad day.  But I believe we will finish this story some day, some how.  For now, I am working hard on the third and final DeadEndia book which I hope offers some closure.  Our Season 3 plan was based heavily on it.  And I continue to pitch shows with the same heart as Dead End. 

But until then, I hope Barney, Norma, Pugsley, Courtney and the whole Phoenix Parks crew will continue to give you comfort in times of darkness.
