When I watched Frozen for the first time as an adult in 2021 I had a full on mental breakdown because I wasn’t expecting Elsa’s arc to be an exact allegory of my mental health history. I watched it multiple times as a child when it first came out but didn’t relate to its characters and messages on such a deep and personal level. I still cry when I read Frozen books that go over Elsa and her fear of her powers. And yes I had to talk to my therapist because of what I did during that breakdown lol
