Uh, um.. I haven’t really done this before but I thought I might as well try!
Hello I’m a nerd who is mostly known as shai/shainess. My tablet has been acting up a lot lately and before it breaks completely I thought that maybe I should try doing commissions! So uh, here I am. I can gladly say that this is actually pretty new to me and I have always been bad at earning my own money. Also I know I’m not the best quality artist so.. even if you don’t commission I hope people could be kind enough to spread this around? Umh.. Yeah!
What else uh-.. I know my examples aren’t the very best and I actually have more in this post. I didn’t add them because they all are almost one year old and these are kind of my recent one’s.. Although all of them are at least 3 months old so I won’t promise my style won’t change much.. I’ll promise to stick to the original DR sprite style if you want!

I know many is probably familiar with the story how I found Doubt Academy and without it Dangan Ronpa OC community in general; my distant friend from deviantArt got suddenly really into DR OCs and used the tag 'dangan ronpa oc' so I simply decided to check it out after reading the manga Bartender and found Saki Shimizu, my angel! Then the group link was there and I got enchanted by the idea of writing and roleplaying, although I have never been in a roleplay, written an application or written that much English in general. If no one has realized it yeah, I'm still a weenie newbie to roleplaying and it's methods! Heck I didn't know such terms ic and ooc meant when pregaming, Rhy can witness that.
Well, I mean by enchanted by the group you could more say like I was lonely. This is when shai's tragic and mysterious past before tumblr happens..!
..This is for the best for all of us because the relationship is too difficult and toxic to maintain. And I’m genuinely wishing you the best of luck and happiness in your new community.

Shortly explained, um.. I used to be really tight with people, with a lot of people. Small group of artist who played Ragnarok Online together if said better.. A lot happened, and I left, or more like I became too distant to the point I was a lost case, something like that. It wasn't the kindest farewell as the people slowly turned their back on me because I refused to talk about my feelings although I knew them all for 4 years. One of the last conversations was when a certain person told me I don't deserve to have any friends. That hopefully I'll never have friends, because in the end I should just disappear-.
I guess this is why I've always pushed myself to please everyone. Be more meme, match with length and be as appealing as possible or at least behave like most of the community do. Use different styles when talking to someone.. I still do that, but at least it's nice to admit it.. that I'm scared if I don't do otherwise I'll be disliked or found annoying,,
Anyway moving on! This all must've sound really depressing, sorry.
I was alone for a while, and well, it was weird. For half a year actually. So when I created Riko, entered the world of pregaming which concept I didn't even know that well, I was honestly terrified. There were so many people popping out of nowhere, and suddenly really kind asks too.. I wasn't use to this, everything was so foreign to me. When people gave me really nice comments, all I could do was thank to thank them, thank them and thank them so much again. And when it actually came to roleplaying I was so clueless, so very clueless how it works, and the fact I started from zero, I knew no one in the community itself who I could get to know to or RP with. There were few short threads, but I never got to know the mun themselves.
I guess this is where I thank Rhy. One of the first people who approached me willingly when I posted an ooc post about how shai I am. Honestly again, I was super duper scared when that ask appeared in my inbox. I was waiting to be just ignored and no one to actually ask.. I just stared at that ask actually, for the longest time. Fuck, I admit it, I am as weenie as fuck and I think I shed a tear or few. Every action of kindness just does that to me okay so please don't judge okay,,... then I added you on Skype and we talked about small things.
I was really happy, because if I remember right, the "Today" section of Skype, had always your name on it and no one else's. Or at least your username was always there. I was so grateful for the thread, I'm still so grateful for everything, for teaching me so, so, so much when pregaming. Without you I wouldn't have know what 'indie rp blog' meant? Or facelaims? And thank you so so so much for starting the conversations.. and supporting me when I felt nervous, when I was sure I wouldn't get in.
Also Nick you too.. when you buried me with your compliments and told me not to worry about my slowness and asked me to RP with you too.. I was just speechless yet so glad that people came to roleplay with me.. same with dazy, thank you so much putting up with my horrible grammars compared to your flaweless writing.
Not only them but thank you for so many muns who were hopefuls and in the hopeful chat and told me it was going to be okay, Thank you so much for everything, I can't name much people or more like my memory won't allow me to, but every word via askbox, via Skype meant so, so much to me. To the point I can't describe it to words. Because of you guys, I was ready to apply, and I was so ready to get rejected, because I knew I still had something to return to?
That's how I was able to sleep soundly when the rosters were coming up. As shameful as it sounds I fell a sleep that time, and woke up three hours later, with a dream where Riko got in. And with so many messages in my inbox and 2 messages in Skype, I just.. didn't know how to feel. I was really confused. because.. "This wasn't supposed to happen?"
That was my first thought.
Especially after the drama happened, and although I didn't receive any anon hate, I felt like I belonged to one of those, who did not deserve to be in the group. Not at all. Riko was a confusing character to myself too and now when I look back, I really feel like someone else would've done better in my place..
Anyways in the beginning.. Again I was scared, again I had to start from the beginning. Although I knew Nick and Dazy when pregaming, we never talked that much after we got in. And then Rhy got in but was thrown to other game. I felt really helpless.. and when the actual game started, I was so, so clueless again. What do I do? How do I write a post? Oh god, god please if you can hear me god, please help me past through this. And so I just stalked what everyone did. J thank you so much for asking if Wakana and Riko could interact, eventho she later ended up as mastermind, I'm still so happy you did that.. I had no one else to turn, but I remember seeing you in the indie community.. so I felt a little safer.
And then the Fen happened, I was so scared of him oh my god, I was so so so so scared of him heck no one probably understands how scared I was of him, I always got the wibe he hates me. He just approaches me with this scary question and then investigation happened, everything happened and I was so confused with the investigation and the first trial, thank you for teaching me how to investigate, although that only happened once!! Also I still blame you for everything thx.
Then second week... second week.. I don't talk about the second week that was a roller coaster to me. I felt so bad yet it was so much fun acting like nothing was going to happen to Riko and fooling Katie... I'll never regret asking Katie what epicmafia was and giving that gun accidently to Naoki. Without it we would've probably never spoken to eachother. I really enjoyed doing so much stuff with you guys, I really did.
Yet my confidence for Riko still dropped so low, I'm going to be honest I was sure she would be forgotten, and I had a lot of times when I just.. wanted to give up, because she never got much time. I was sure no one really cared about her as a character. And there were times I felt like an outcast, just casually thrown aside. I just didn't want to bother anyone so I rarely.. addressed it. I didn't want to be selfish after receiving so much,,
But later on so many people came to me, leaving comments that made me cry like a baby.. So many people who came to talk with me later on and starting conversations with me even if Riko couldn't interact with the living characters the muns still hitted me up and had casual conversations with me.. I just.. thank you so much.
Drea especially thank you for that one time.. even if it was just a small message I felt so much better. Thank you for letting me hit up with you sometimes and let me be less meme.. There are times I truly want to write with caps locks and proper dots.. Thank you for rolling around my banana farm and predespair headcanoning with me!! Thank you for giving me confidence boosts.. just so much thank you.
Hunter too.. you somehow approached around the times I felt really lonely? When no one really talked to me and I couldn't bring myself to talk with people.. I know you're pretty talkative person in general, but still.. I feel like I'm in debt or something,, your art is amazing and it's always super fun talking about.. ??? Totally unrelated to doubt sometimes?
