Walking on the Sun (Open)

Ueli grinned when the girl turned around; that meant she’d noticed them.Probably. They kept on waving until they noticed her start walking their way. She clearly had good taste, deciding to talk to them. Upon reaching them, they were able to fully take in her appearance.
This had to be one of those mail-order Japanese brides Monoko had ordered. Ueli decided they shouldn’t tell him.
Really, Ueli was a bit struck when they first saw her, but quickly brought themselves back to reality. This was the first person they’d be speaking since waking up, so they were naturally enthusiastic. They began… well… skipping… towards Miyako. Unfortunately for them, their slightly oversized coat proved to make that rather difficult, and it snagged onto their foot as they fell flat on the floor.
Whoops.
They leapt back up, straightening themselves and regaining balance after that embarrassing move. They laughed it off and continued walking towards the girl, finally stopping when they were right in front of her face. Their was really not much space between them, and she could probably hear their breathing.
Ueli frowned. She was slightly taller than they were. “Drat,” they whispered under their breath, but being so close to Miyako she could probably hear it anyway. They smiled though, a smile so wide and so seemingly forced, a smile that had scared away so many strangers and not-strangers. Good thing Miyako couldn’t see.
“Hi! I’m Ueli, it’s nice to meet you! You’re really pretty, miss… Miss… what’s your name?”
Miyako only stood in place as this stranger ventured closer to greet her, listening carefully for any strange sounds that could signal danger for them, or herself. The most danger was clearly the person themselves. She could tell when they fell and approached them somewhat, stopping when she sensed them leap up and continue walking forward. Boy, this is awkward.
She could feel Ueli’s breath. She could hear every bit of it too, from the norm to the inconsistencies. Ueli should probably take a chill pill. Boy, this only gets more awkward.
“A-Ah...” she said softly, taking a single step back. A small step enough to distance herself from them and bow respectfully. “M-My name is Miyako Kiyomizu, world renowned Spiritualist and medium. W-What is your name?” she asks nervously. She is steadily trying to get a read for this person’s appearance and stature, all she needs left are... two things. Neither of which are very comfortable for her to ask. Boy, how can it get any more awkward?
