Before Anakin could exchange another remark, he felt the other male pulling him forward by his wrist.“ Alright alright, I’m coming.” He said in almost a resistant tone.Though trying to conceal it, Anakin was intrigued to taste this reese's that the male seemed quite captivated by. 

Stiles just smirked as he kept tugging the other along. “You know me too well,” he said easily before entering the store. “And I also can see that tiny excited glint in your eye, you can’t wait to try it, don’t even attempt to deny it, mister.”

Raven offered him a brief smile. “So, what’s your name anyways?”

“My name’s Stiles. What’s your name?” Stiles replied, an easy smile on his lips.

“– Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s a drone bearing PB piloted by yours truly in your hour of need!”

“Okay, no, but, seriously, this needs to be a thing. Can you make it a thing? Because that would just be amazing! I can already imagine myself at work or in class and suddenly a drone just comes by and drops off some Reese’s.”

Enjolras blinked. Grumpy? He wasn’t grumpy. Why on earth would he be thought of as grumpy? Puzzling. Very puzzling. “– …I…am doing…well, merci…why?” The fuck was happening.

Stiles couldn’t help but chuckle at the other’s expression. “I was just wondering,” he replied with a shrug.

“I take it you enjoy it here then? I think i’m going to be sticking around for a while.”

“Yeah. It’s, uh, it’s alright.” Stiles replied, scratching his neck. “It’s become a home.”

Raven offered him a smile and gave a slight nod of her head. “Well, I guess if you’re paying, then I can’t say no.” She agreed with a shrug of her shoulders.

“I wouldn’t even have accepted a no.” Stiles replied with a smirk before he started walking towards the gas station - which was the closest place with Reese’s.

“I do.” His smile widened and Stilinski reached into his jacket’s inside pocket to pull out the spare key they had given him in case he lost his current one. He knew he wouldn’t lose his —— or rather that if he did, the voice inside his head; Stiles’s voice would calmly remind him to check his coffee cup and he’d find them. So logically, he was going to give the second key away. “Keep this safe for me, will you? Apartment 418.” Returning the hug, his arms wrapped around Stiles, holding him as close as they could phsically get ——  until his diet was mentioned. “Hold on, Stiles !! That is all you can think of?!” Honestly, Stilinski wanted to be offended, but instead a warmhearted laugh left his lips and he pulled back a little to look at his son. God bless this boy’s heart. “I can take care of myself, Stiles. Just… relax a little.” With his arrival, he definitely didn’t want to cause another distraction to worry about. “Aha. But if you want me to teach you again how to shave, you know where to find me.”

Stiles just shook his head and chuckled - he wasn’t going to admit that he was slightly tearing up now. When he had moved to Magnolia, he had known that it was something he had needed to do - he had needed to try and get away from everything, get settled and go to college... or something. And while he had been in Beacon Hills almost constantly anyway, it all still had felt differently and it was only now that he realized just how much he had missed having his Dad close. “Well, old man, someone’s gotta watch after your diet because I’m sure you don’t do it yourself.” He teased as he took the key. “And,” his eyes were sparkling with mischief, “don’t you think I won’t check your cupboards, fridge and freezer for any hidden goods. Which reminds me, I learned a few new recipes and I’m sure you’ll like most of them.” Cooking was one of the things that were Stiles’ responsibilities because Erica was just a mess in the kitchen, so he gladly took that job. “And also yes, I know where to find you if I need help shaving. 418. Which is just about a ten minute walk away from where I live. I don’t even need to use the car.” His lips curled up in a wide grin. “I’m really glad you’re here, Dad.”

“Can’t say that I have___”. Before a further response could proceed, a thin laugh fell from his lips. Anakin’s eyebrows arched as he heard the remark leave the other male. The blue hues glanced at him with a stagnant expression of perplexity across his features. “ Are you certain this is  necessary?”

With a wide grin, Stiles nodded. “Yup, certainly necessary. Follow me!” With that, he gripped Anakin’s wrist to tug him after him. “Trust me, once you tasted it, there’s no going back.”

“but it’d be so worth it though..just think about the perfectly delicious blend of chocolate and peanut butter waiting to be eaten.”

“Ughh,” Stiles groaned. “Why must you have such perfectly thought out arguments?”

Cue fingerguns. “– No problemo, ol’ buddy ol’ pal. No worries, I can hook you up with them sweet PB treetz.”

Stiles just happily munched away on his Reese’s. “You shall now be my PB dealer. Whenever I’m in need I’ll call you. Now this is what true friendship is made of.”

“I wish I knew what all the fuss was about…” she shrugged.

“Well, Reese’s are made of peanut butter surrounded by chocolate. Super delicious unless you’re, like you, allergic. It’s super sweet and my favorite thing!”

“Have you been here long?”

“A bit over a year at this point. So in relation to the people who actually grew up here, I wouldn’t say it’s been long but in comparison to the people who move here, you could say that. Not many really stick around.”

Wait. What? Enjolras heard his name, and looked over, the person he was arguing with muttering to themselves and slinking away. As it was, he was a little disoriented by the sudden shift in societal demand, and blinked. “– …Monsieur Café. What is…new? Uh…I’m not sure what you ask.”

Stiles grinned at him. “You know, what’s up? How are you doing? Besides being your wonderful grumpy self, Mister Baker.”

“Never heard of ‘em. I’m not exactly from around here, though, so that’s probably why. Are they really that good?”

“They’re the best I’ve ever had. I know a place where we can get them, let’s go!” Stiles said with a wiggle of his eyebrows before nodding down the road. “I’ll pay.”

              ‘ you know i just had one of those for the first time the other day and let me tell you it was amazing and wished we had them back home. ‘

“They‘re really great, aren’t they? Where are you from? I heard from places that don’t have them and I don’t think I’ll ever understand why.”

Noticing the smug expression across the other’s gestures, brought annoyance to Anakin, but he’d dismiss it for now. “Reese’s?” The question slipped from the edge of Anakin’s mouth with a hint of perplexity. The thin line of his eyebrows lifted, before taking a subtle and heavy step forward. Though Anakin had been on the planet for a significant amount of months, there were still many aspects of the culture that he was unfamiliar with. Padme often spoke of blending in, but that came quite difficult for him, even on Earth.   

“Oh my God. You really never had Reese’s?” Stiles asked with wide eyes. “Okay, no dude, that’s just plain wrong. You know what we’re going to do? We’re going down to the gas station and get some Reese’s. Some for you and some for me.”

Tim threw a packet of Reese’s at Stiles. “– One step ahead of you, homeslice.”

“And this,” Stiles said while happily unwrapping the Reese‘s, “is one of the reasons why you’re one of my favorite people.”
