First they have staff heavily monitor him. Prop him up in all his awkward, sad boy glory. Don’t really let him see the comments. And then cut the vlive when questions start pouring in. I have to laugh. Like it’s gotten to the point where the evasion tactics are comedic.  What is SO controversial about just apologizing? Like at this point it doesn’t even matter. They handled this situation like assholes and I just hope that next time around - they handle racially insensitive matters A LOT better than this. If not for Carats but for the artist. So on today’s GOSE Wonwoo sang the Curry song, which is offensive and racist toward Indians. (Both Vernon and DK have also done this in the past so it clearly is something that needs to be addressed and brought to the members attention)  @/ha_yeol_summer on twitter has created a template in korean that you can either post on the Korean weverse or email to pledis here [email protected] to ask the editors to cut the part out of the episode and for an apology. it’s written politely so there’s no misunderstanding.

Jwwoo_, tinkswonhao, and soonberries on twitter gathered thoughts from desi carats and made an email template about the situation with wonwoo on going seventeen, it also mentions when dk and vernon sang the same song in an inside seventeen episode. it includes an explanation of why the song is racially insensitive and a request for pledis to inform the members of the situation and for staff to re-edit the gose and inside seventeen episodes where they sing the song. I wanted to share it since it seems like the most well thought out template I've seen.
