If it’s not one thing, it’s always another.
Washing up on the sandy shores of this island was typically not in her agenda, even though she could’ve expected a lot worse to happen. This certainly was nothing like the forest or city she was used to, considering there was quite a lot of open space to roam; and nowhere to hide.
Azami’s not one to be social, nor anywhere near having the desire to be so. She’s quiet and kept to herself, shielding herself from the sunlight and slithering in the shadows. Though... she can’t stay there forever. Especially considering she’s been holding back her desire to explore, for the sake of not becoming some spotlight freak show.
Evenings were better to roam around, considering everyone had some place to go or be at this time. Azami was happy to explore at this time, as well as pick up any necessities she could sneak away back to her apartment room. Food, mostly, whereas she retrieved a basket to be filled at a local market with some simple snacks. Though... the vendor wasn’t so kind, as to leave her basket higher on a counter top that she just couldn’t quite reach. Typical. Always treated as low dirt; or that’s just her first assumption.
Standing on her tiptoes, fingers just barely brushing over the edge of her basket, too prideful to ask for assistance, the medusa would not expect for anothers hand to outstretch hers and bring the basket forward for Azami to grasp. Head turning sharply, crimson hues glinting in surprise, she met the cold hues of the individual who had assisted her.
“ ...You didn’t have to do that. ”
