Shin sat flipping through his university assignments on his old laptop and glanced at the guy standing at the kitchen counter incredulously.
"Soooo you're cooking, huh?"
"Yeah! You do so much for us, I should thank you." — Roderick had been in a high spirits since morning for some reason. Maybe it was a reason to learn something new, or maybe he just had the stick up his ass again.
"Are you sure you know how to do this, Roderick?"
The Crown Prince stood in some godforsaken apron he'd dug out of the kitchen, his face as if he were preparing for a new battle he was sure he'd win.
"Sure, I've seen servants do it in the castle, I'm sure it's just as easy in your world. Trust me."
"I hope my sense for trouble lets me down" — Shin was really sure that something would go wrong, considering how the heir was brought up, but seeing how agitated he was decided to keep silent, taking out the detergent beforehand and preparing for another day of trouble.
A while later.
"what do you think, Shin?"
"Well..um.."
However, Shin's speech, who was opening and closing his mouth in an attempt to say something, was interrupted by Mabon walking in with his disgusted smirk.
"...Wow, it looks like someone decided to die, either the dish or the one who will eat it. You really are useless, your majesty, just like a worm."
"What!? At least unlike you I'm trying to help and doing something."
"I'm helping, too. Illuminating your dirty faces with my divine radiance."
"You…!"
Once again, Shin sighed, seeing the two boys begin to bicker, and accepting his fate of being with two idiots in his house and without his wish.
"Well, it's time to start cleaning up. I've had enough bad luck for a lifetime."
Shin doesn't quite understand how his life got to the point of deepest shit.
At one point, he's renting an apartment for pennies in some backwater and barely paying his way through a university he didn't even want to go to.... And the next, two guys who look too much like himself stand in front of him and claim that one of them is the crown prince and the other is a priest of the divine church. Who are they? What's their connection?
And most importantly, where to put these idiots who are penniless and he himself barely has enough in his wallet for a discount sandwich?!
