it upsets me when zack downplays his intelligence bc he is perfectly capable of learning, coming up with solutions & adapting to his environment. (even if he wasnt able to, intelligence isnt limited to thinking/ideas etc since there are multiple intelligences, but i digress)

zack truly cant see anything outside of his goal when hes highly emotional and destructive. though, he seems to be able to snap out of it almost as fast as he got into that mindset

he also doesnt have healthy coping skills; he is outwardly destructive when he doesnt feel good. its interesting to note that he doesnt harm himself but rather people/objects, which leads me to believe that, no matter how little he may think of himself, he doesnt think of himself as someone he should inflict pain on. essentially, he knows what upsets him and targets that only; he doesnt blame himself for the discomfort he feels.
