Predictions for the Maka Vs Ruby Death Battle, I have not watched and I will post my reaction when I do,

I think Maka is gonna smoke Ruby, I love Ruby and she is a strong fighter and she could take down Maka but I think if this is post canon Maka vs post canon Ruby, I think Maka is a little crazier than Ruby, like Maka pushed herself onto Crona’s black blood spikes, she is part weapon herself, she is literally a death scythe wielder and I think she’s just fuckin crazier than Ruby, Ruby has determination, Maka don’t give a single fuck

Happy 22 Years!

Forever thinking about Jaune Arc. When I was young like 11 or 12, we learned about Saint Joan of Arc. Then in 2013, rwby came out. And named a boy. Jaune Arc. His story doesn’t follow hers in anyway, nor does he burn at the stake for being a heretic. He isn’t guided by the supposed voice of god (at least I don’t remember that) And I know Jaune means yellow, or something to that affect and that’s why he’s named that, and I can see how he resembles her physically, minus his blond hair and the fact he’s a boy.

But his armor, his sword, his semblance. They remind me of her, just a little. His armor is pure white, with gold trim, some depictions of her have her in shining armor that look almost white, and his semblance is pure white light, I forget it’s name but it’s holy looking. I wonder if he would resemble her more. Have his hair turn black due to trauma, give him more armor, make it clear that maybe this voice of god is real, and only he can hear it. I haven’t watched the newest seasons, I stopped at 6 because life got rough for me. I plan on restarting rwby soon with my partner. But I’m genuinely curious if Jaune Arc is just his name or if he could have been more like her. I love Joan of arc, she to me, despite being a boy myself, is a very strict reminder that people don’t care if you can hear god, if you’re a woman they will find any excuse to burn you. Even if you ran a militia.

I know he isn’t meant to be her, but I think it would be cool ya know? My favorite saint, and my favorite rwby character.

Anyways; TLDR: headcanon that Jaune’s hair turns black as he either gets older, or seeing Pyrrha die and his hair and mind literally “turn dark” :)
