so, update, all of my posts **appear** to have been unflagged, even the ones i don’t recall requesting reviews on (and the ones tumblr wouldn’t let me request reviews on). im not exactly keeping up on the flag/algorithm details, so maybe they did a full reset since so many things were being falsely flagged (or maybe they just unflag all of your posts if you fight enough of them), but whatever, if it worked it worked.

as a more general update, i’m not planning on leaving tumblr (im not exactly on much to begin with), at least at the moment. i still like the format and don’t post any real nsfw stuff anyway, so apart from a shit algorithm and generally hating the ban, it doesn’t really effect this blog. i’ll still be looking at alternatives, but for now, this blog will still likely be as active as it always was.

#im mostly upset by the ban because of it's general implications #and the fact that i had other plans for art+tumblr in the future #while those plans arent entirely shot #(assuming they fix the damn algorithm to not assume nudity = bad)#the fact that tumblr's future both in regards to platform and base remains uncertain #is extremely disheartening #not art #this will *probably* be my last post on the matter unless something major happens #tumblr ban

uh so, for a few of my posts that have been flagged (erroneously), it’s not allowing me to request a review? i have had no problem on most of them, but for some the option just is not appearing. viewing the post on my account doesn’t even actually say that it’s been flagged. the only reason i know is because i have it reblogged on another account which states the reblog has been flagged. if anyone knows what to do about this, hmu. also, assuming this is actually a problem that is occurring to more people, DON’T ASSUME A POST OF YOURS ISN’T FLAGGED JUST BECAUSE IT’S NOT SHOWING THE WARNING. try reblogging it to another account to see if the flag appears on the reblog. @staff fix ur system.
