pokes my head in. hi. its been a while huh. sorry about that. i dont know if im coming back but i figure i at least owe more than just disappearing.

life has been a bit complicated for me, and its severely neutered my creative drive. what little ive had has gone into various projects that im not sure i'll ever be able to complete. i feel bad for leaving y'all out in the cold without so much as a word, but i don't know if i have the energy for rp, let alone on so many different blogs. if i do come back it will be in a much more limited capacity. sorry for the silence, i hope y'all are having a good go of it

ive been busy lately, and also pretty low mentally. but i do want to come back, because i like roleplaying.

i think i just might have chosen the wrong characters and fandoms for these blogs, so i think i'm gonna do some downsizing. i'm gonna go through my blogs, look at follower counts and also just my general interest, and delete a couple. i also think my random bomberman phase is thoroughly over, and so i think i'm gonna redesign this blog into a central hub for my other blogs.

There is nothing but silence, the ruins of the Egg Carrier remained undisturbed for many a year. Upon the main area on the outside of it lay two long abandoned machines. One being red the other being black there were signs of battle upon both of them. One being shot many times by small energy shots while a massive hole was in the side of another. These were the remains of E101 Beta and E102 Gamma two robots who fought one another in this spot only to both meet their ends at one another's hands. The red machine however had its single hand placed over the hand of the black machine.

Gamma was a simple machine, powered by a bird like being. Gamma had gone on a mission to save all the birds that lay trapped within each of the E Series in the hope of saving them all. And he had done so always intending to die at the end himself too. They were never meant to exist, their creation had only caused pain to one another.

So, Gamma had accepted his death willing to fade away into nothing along with the brother he had adored yet that love was never returned. Not that it was Beta's fault he simply could never understand. He remained loyal to the end and got nothing for it.

The two robots only had one another in their silence. Holding onto one another as they slowly faded away.

"Well now, isn't this a find?"

Scrapnik Island, so far, was turning out to be a pretty major goldmine. Team Dark had been deployed there by the Restoration as scouts after Sonic and Tails got back from their little adventure. Shadow was out dealing with the locals-- his favorite job, surely-- while Omega...held the fort. It was probably best he sat this one out; better to lack a bit in muscle than risk him turning the place into his personal shooting range.

Rouge knew she'd find the ruins of the old Egg Carrier in the much larger ruins of the old Death Egg. Tails had mentioned it when he told his Restoration friends about the place. What she hadn't known for sure was what she'd find on it, if anything. Instead of the rusted out husk she'd been anticipating, she found some pretty important little machines.

Well, little was relative. Each of the robots would have stood at well over twice her height-- if either of them were still standing. She'd read a bit about the early members of the E-100 line while she was in Eggman's "employ." Not much-- the good doctor apparently wasn't the nostalgic type, at least not for "disappointments" like these. Besides, they took a bit of a backseat in his logs to the more pressing matter of Chaos' revival. Still, she knew enough about the Apotosian alphabet to surmise that the one labelled 101 was Beta, and the one labelled 102 was Gamma. She could tell from the way they lay there that they had destroyed each other. Wouldn't have been the first time Eggman's robots rebelled against their creator. The question was: which one was the perpetrator here?

"...so that's the story." Rouge finished her long explanation, "So, foxy, think you can get this thing working?"

"Sure I can! It looks like he's still mostly in-tact, mostly he just needs a power source and some major tuning up." Tails explained, already digging through a large drawer of random, poorly-sorted knick-knacks, "Ah! This should do it!"

The foxboy came up holding what seemed to be a yellow Chaos Emerald.

"Sweet Gaia, kid, you just had that thing lyin' around? And you're gonna use it for this?"

"Oh-- haha! Don't worry, it's just a fake. One of the prototypes for the one I used during the whole ARK thing a while back!" Tails laughed.

Several minutes passed with Rouge just...waiting in the kid's living room, hearing the sounds of welding and metal banging. Gaia below this was boring. She wondered how her teammates were doing. Shadow was probably still reporting back to Jewel about their finds. Omega had been tasked with watching Shadow Jr.-- that had to be one heck of a show. Anything would've been more fun than just sitting here like this. Rouge was a busy woman, she had missions to go on and gems to...procure.

Finally, Tails came out of his workshop. Kid was covered in soot and grease, but his smile told Rouge all she needed to know.

"Come in here, I did it!" Tails ushered her in, "It's not pretty, but I think it'll work, and that's what matters! It took a long time to get all the wires replaced and resoldered-- honestly that was the worst part-- but that artificial Emerald should have enough output to keep him running for years!"

In the workshop, Gamma was strung up by various cords and wires to keep him upright, the table he'd been laid to work on now angled up to get him on his feet. He towered over the two Mobians. His gun alone was around the size of either of their torsos. There was an air of anticipation between the two of them-- wondering what he'd do when he woke up.

"So, care to do the honors?" Tails handed Rouge a remote, a grin stretched wide across his furry white snout.

"Uh, sure." She took it and pressed the button in the center. The artificial Emerald got a jolt from the surrounding wires, just enough to power it up. And with it, the rest of the hulking robot.

“Happy to see me again?”

“It’s been so long since we’ve last parted, hm? We have some catching up to do.”

“You looking to start a fight or something?”

“Did you think I wouldn’t notice you watching me?”

“Us meeting wasn’t an accident.”

“Hey hey, no need for that I’d just like to talk.”

“Why the hostility? Do you treat every stranger this way?”

“I see no one has ever bothered to teach you manners.”

“Come with me, no time to explain!”

“Look, you’re in danger. You need to do as I say.”

“Are these guys bothering you?”

“Hey, leave him/her alone!”

“You look tired. Need a ride?”

“Shit shit, are you okay?!”

“Give me your belongings and you won’t get hurt. Sound fair?”

“Well look what the cat dragged in.”
