This is one of my favorite moments in Jude's main story that I really wanted to draw since his route release:

Jude is like a firework. It’s fierce, intense, and dangerous if you get too close, but no matter how hard you try to look away, you can’t. But at the same time, maybe because I’ve been watching Jude for so long, a sense of unease is born in me. (Just as no firework shines forever, there are times when it seems like Jude will vanish…..) The profile of the person next to me, seems like he will suddenly disappear without a word to anyone, without leaving anything behind…..

I've been getting in my own head lately about creating polished pieces, so I tried to experiment with a more... sketchy/textured paint-over style. Definitely a struggle when I'm still lacking in a lot of fundamentals! There are a few mistakes I couldn't manage to fix at this time, but maybe when the nagging voice in my head wins, I'll create a cleaned up version.
