we as a society do not talk about early eighties daredevil comics enough. elektra's first appearance. the delicious lovers to strangers to enemies with tension thing that she and matt have going on. the way matt goes crazy when elektra is killed and digs up her grave because he can't comprehend that she's gone. that one issue from foggy's perspective where he accidentally gets hired as Kingpin's next top assassin, calls himself Guts Nelson, and believes himself to be this hardboiled badass detective type while daredevil hops around in the background saving him from dying without his knowledge. this era is everything to me

Forgot I hadnt posted this here yet so heres my spread for the Batgirls zine! I found it interesting to explore an outsider view of the history of the Batgirls (through Vicki Vale), and how gothamites would’ve reacted to each of them as they debuted. My writing isnt the best but im really proud of what I illustrated!
