shoutout to lemony snicket for being honest with children that adults are horrible at recognizing child abuse, or that if they do recognize it they will act like their “hands are tied”. I’ve seen so many people get indignant about that but it’s absolutely true to my experience also shoutout to lemony snicket for filling an entire page of a book with just the word “ever”

in a healthy, close relationship of any kind, when something upsets you, you need to bring it up. as soon as possible, even. cultivate an environment in which you both can talk about things that upset you, with the utmost attention to everyone’s feelings. it’s a really simple thing to do but it’s a thing i’ve been working on for a while and i’m getting actual nice things happening as a result

to elaborate: bunnies are prey animals and almost never have their guard down– even when they’re resting they’ll usually have their back legs in a position that allows them to quickly run away. if they’re jumping around it means they’re extremely happy!! and if they flop down w/o a care that means they feel very very comfortable and safe to the point of not having to worry about their surroundings. ^__^
