Yeah they’re cute, but do they:
Respect you?
Do they value you?
Are they capable of deep empathy and communication?
Do they seek to understand?
Do they love themselves?
Are they a positive influence on your life?
Do they support you and your decisions?
Do they take actions to show they care?
Would they stick by your side during a crisis?

Umar ibn al-Khattab:
“Remind yourselves of Allah, for it is a cure. Do not remind yourselves of people, for it is a disease.”

Let's be honest, reading books and buying books are two completely different hobbies.
This is exactly what Allah SWT tells us about this life. It’s going to look, sound, and feel very real. At times it’s going to scare us, and at times it’s going to make us cry. At times it’s going to make us flee instead of standing firm. Always say Alhamdulah for those hardships, that are constantly reminding us that this is not our home.
