3rd attempt 507lbs squat. initially i wanted to do 501 but call me stupid or whatever i knew if got got it easy i would regret cuz i didnt leave it on the platform. i was in the #gobigorgohome mentality. and im glad i did 507 because if succeeded i know that i broke the 500lbs mark by that much more and if i failed even attempting big numbers like this is a huge mile stone in it of itself. #teamPRorER #teamelevator #squatshit #pickingupheavythings #puttingitbackdown #π΄π΄π΄

β meet reportβ (more like a life update but w. e) sq: βͺ440 βͺ468 π΄507 bp: βͺ230 π΄255 π΄255 dl: βͺ420 βͺ453 π΄485 i probably gained more knowledge avout my self than I did physical strength. although I was close for most of my 3rd attempts, i am more than happy that i am this close to these numbers. if you asked me a year ago what are my goals (both in the gym and outside the gym) i would have insecure answering. i only started powerlifting since around this time about a year ago and i would never have thought i would even see these number let alone attempting them at a meet. i was let go from a job also after only working 3 weeks for them (which i took as a blessing in disguise) and i was down because its been a year since i graduated college and i still didnt have any experience under my belt. so i was stuck in the classic catch 22 scenario where i do t have any experience to get a job and i dont have a job to get experience. now its a year later and im eying down 1300 total by the end of 2016 and im back in school studying kinesiology after discovering my interests in powerlifting, dragonboat, and just movements of human body in general. its great that i also gain this huuuuuuuge support group to cheer me on; even i though i thought they should have been with their families for mothers day.
