(edt: The rose is just symbolic btw (although I do think Cas would literally give him flowers). The point is that from Dean's perspective Cas is probably hiding a weapon, that's why Dean looks frozen and tense. Dean can't really comprehend what else a man would hold behind his back approaching him if not a weapon, what intention would anyone have towards him other than violence. But also that's artist's intention solely Cas also would literally give Dean a rose in the middle of a hunt he has his dense moments lmao)

Alicia, her mother's grace and her father's pride.

Another painting for an older Alicia, based on a tweet by barbozari mentionning this specific outfit, it fitted her so much, I really wanted to paint her in it.

The more I searched for more accurate references, the more I realized how innacurate her burns were shown in the game, it's probably due to the model and other limitations but I always admire when scars are shown as they should look like, not just an acceptable 'prettier' version.

I'm aware that the way i painted them is still 'too pretty' and innacurate, especially since they're supposed to looked healed. I don't have enough knowledge about it yet but I want to get better at it eventually.

I adore her character so much, in the possibility that she could grow older, I'd hope they'd find a way for it to be as painless as possible, I really like the idea of her having her mother's features and her father's pride (and sense of fashion). I hope older Alicia grows confident again, I hope somehow she realizes she no longer have to hide or feel guilty.

Sketches of Clea and her hatred.

Her character is as fascinating as she's terrifying to me. I love how, even if we don't know much about her, we quickly understand how much of a threat she can be. I love the details about her younger self and the way she cares about her family, despite her cold demeanor and harsh comments.

To me, Clea, if she even had the time to grieve, is doing so through anger. I'm horrified at what she did to her painted self, and at the same time i can understand how insulted she must've felt. To see herself through the eyes of her grieving mother, living another life while she was left to pick up the pieces of a shattered family and the responsabilities that come with it.

Have had the idea for this silly comic ever since seeing the accordion in the Manor during the 'Alicia' Epilogue, and process of elimination leading me to assume it's Renoir's. @sky-kiss' recent posts motivated me to actually sit down and finish drawing it. XD (goooo read the fic. It's Very Good!)

Clea's painted wrath.

Ever since i finished the game I've wondered about Clea and the act of painting over someone's creation.

For her it's probably nothing, if you think about it from her point of view, she must've felt insulted, to see a painted copy of herself her grieving mother made out of desillusion, living a perfect life while she was struggling picking up the pieces of a broken family. her anger is understandable, if not justifiable. It's terrifying knowing someone can have that level of power.

For the painted people and us it's one of the most terrible thing a litteral god can do. To paint over someone's essence, to erase what make them human with a simple brushstroke. This duality is fascinating to me so i tried to recreate it.
