“Were those your friends?” Jake asked while he kept staring at those 3 retreating figures sprinting away from his cabin
“i don't think so” you replied settling on the couch, mentally noting to just beat up those three after whatever this was gonna be,
but like okay I can spare them a little, im lot more chilled now
jake turned around scoffing, he could clearly sense the lie, moreover he saw the matching keychains on the blonde's bag, dragging a chair right in front of you, he settled down, visibly maspreading
“you have always been a little liar or what”
“only to those who can't comprehend honesty” you spat back
he sighed. right yn bix, daughter of the trusty, who been funding this school from last 5 years, ofcourse she's having a superiority complex
Now thinking back, that was really dramatic to just hyperventilate over Jake, the minute you got to know Ms Kim boarded her train, it was all safe.
nobody dared to mess with you or even talk back, especially the faculties but ms kim, being the oldest, have known you since childhood as her husband was your dad's business partner, she did NOT hesitate to call you out on your mischiefs
now that she was gone and stupid jake did not report you to her, everything was at ease, an intern teacher couldn't do a shit, you just have to bear with them for 3 months.
“so jake, how old are you”
you asked while comfortably slouching on the couch
jake had enough of this bullshit, pinning his hands against the couch, either side of your head, he lifted your face up with his fingers
“what did you say? its mr sim for you, yn. my age shouldn't matter, I'm here as your teacher and specifically to knock some sense into your daddy's princess mind” he said scoffing, examining your expression
he couldn't care less about this job, fuck he didn't even want to spend his winter in an university handling kids, especially bratty kids like you.
This intern job was forcibly offered to Jake along with his friends just so they could learn some responsibility, the minute they crashed their yacht to the berth taking controls in their hands and overdosing the skipper
The parents were visibly disappointed at four of them, deciding they were unfit to take over the companies.
jake have been pretty close with sunghoon, jay, heesung since he can remember, all quickly bonded over their dislike on taking upon their family business, the minute they reached high school, they started their own band
heesung and jake being the vocalist while the other two played the instrument, contributing in singing here and there
but sadly none of them could pursue music as they went to university, getting forced into business when their heart was in music was devastating, that's when the rebellion started
it was small at first, staying out of house for late, going on drives before getting their license, throwing massive parties which led to noise complaints
as the senior year rolled in the parents became stricter, totally grounding the four boys for the whole year and limiting all the interactions with each other
It did help them to get their grades up.
the parents honestly felt proud to just calm the Storm of their friendship but they did not know what was coming
the minute the graduated, jay and jake being top of their class followed by sunghoon and heesung in top 10, they quickly patched up their friendship by going to impulsive vacations, way out of reach of their parents, almost never picking their calls
One day they were partying in LA, while the next update you see about them, they are in Thailand getting body massages and before you blink they are in Monaco watching F1 races, getting intoxicated, playing around with girls, doing everything but getting in contact with their parents.
but soon when the parents thought they had enough fun, they quickly blocked their credit cards and freezed the payments, and when you are a nepo baby with a silver spoon in your mouth, you aren't really getting funded is your lifestyle.
so within the next 24 hours they were back to their parents who had one condition to check out their capability of taking over the companies
be an intern teacher at bix's school, 3 months, you get the company and freedom to continue whatever batshit band you had going on
he still remembers those words as if they are engraved in his mind

mr bix being your dad means if somehow you go complain about Jake to your dad, he really can't just fire his friend's son right?

at the speed you are going, its very difficult to not get stares from students around you, if you had time you probably would have screamed

because the etiquette embedded in your skin believed that running is for people who cannot appreciate their surrounding.
now as your feet are working to take you to your class, your minds working faster

Being a senior was fun- yes all those assignments, project did come heavy but there's something in final year which you can't really explain. but what canceled out all the fun and doubled the torture was ms.kim, who kept getting assigned as your maths teacher for the past 4 years.
sighing you slipped inside the classroom, the view was gorgeous- okay sarcasm but how else could you describe a fully filled classroom staring straight at you while ms.kim was giving out the test paper
"you're late, no like beyond late, did you oversleep?"
chuckles left from few but quickly silence was filled after ms.kim glared at them, she signaled you to the corner back seat, striding towards the only empty seat, you caught beomgyu's sly grin and soobin's sweet smile
right they were four rows infront of you, can't even ask help.
slumping down in the corner seat, you quickly straightened your back upon seeing the guy beside you

"girl i been trying to ask you what's the second questions answer, do you not catch the cues" you whispered back with a bit of frustration
"hey, so this is a test, I cannot just give you out answers" nudging his glasses up, he tried to keep his voice very low.
"bro, do not talk to me like a geek, I jus need some answers, and you know what, help me out and I'll buy you lunch?"
he couldn't feel a single ounce of regret from your tone for not studying and heck you were very unapologetic about it too
he sure had people asking him for answers, but they were very apologetic and kind just hoping for few answers but here you were completely opposite

you stared at him, seeing a creepy smirk grow while a few chuckles left his pretty mouth

before you could deny his help, he slightly tilted his answer sheet towards you
the answers were tempting, quickly jotting down the same while making few tweaks so ms.kim won't catch onto you both, you decided its just okay to take his answers even though he didn't agree on the lunch but didn't ask for anything else either.
After two hours of copying the entire paper off of him and stealing glances at his toned and slender fingers in between, you finally threw a smile to the guy and making little thumbs-up gesturing you were done
jake simply nodded with a smile and turned back to his original position, beside the calm and collected facade he has now, internally he was feeling evil, chuckles were bubbling up, evil laughter was at tip of his tongue
you had no idea what you have called upon yourself.
within the next thirty minutes the answer sheet were collected by Ms.kim, standing at the teachers desk, she held you guys back for an announcement.
"so class, i have a very important announcement, me and few other teachers are leaving for setting the CSAT paper, so our university has hired some intern teachers to replace us for the period of time, and which other time could be even better than now to introduce them"
whispers started pouring in, as everyone started to stare at the door hoping for the new faces to emerge
ms kim chuckled seeing the anticipation
"well kids surprise, they been already with you guys observing each one of your moment throughout the test"
silence, the room went absolutely still
the class had almost 120 students, each from different year, section heck to conclude all were strangers to everyone's eyes except for their friends
you leaned towards jake as you whispered
"this is absolute bullshit, I hope its no one around us or we will be doom-"
before you could finish, jake abruptly stood up, followed by 3 other guys who sat at each corners, they walked towards ms.kim
"This is sunghoon, park sunghoon, your econ faculty, jake, jake sim, maths, park joneseong, business and heesung, Lee heesung, management" she said pointing to the four gorgeous men, absolutely stunning figures as they bowed when their name was called out
jake could visibly see the color draining out of your face as you realized who exactly he was.
ms kim soon dismissed the class
quickly planning to just escape the classroom you took your bad and tried blending into the crowd, with no sign of jake inside the class, you sighed in relief
what are they power rangers? why did they even waste two hours sitting in class ideally, stupid university i swear, making teachers pop up from classroom-
you stopped right in your tracks as jake stood infront of you, leaning slightly in the hallway walls, as he had your answer sheet
"meet me in office, yea? you were talking about buying some lunch right? ms...yn?"
he said eyeing your answer sheet, before you could answer or even beg for forgiveness he walked away with a stupid smirk
