āYou lost my kid?!ā
āArcee, Iām-ā
āNo. You donāt get to be sorry- what were you thinking?ā
āI didnāt think would work! I wasnāt aware heād count- or that it would, you know-ā
MEANWHILE
āThese stars⦠may Destiny be kind.ā
WIP.
Blurr youāre lucky Heatwaveās there to keep you safe.
Still having fun with the shapes and composition, but I found the first frame too funny. I wanted to share it in case I end up changing the positions.
Update! Pretty robots and space magic āØ
The star map has gone through so many iterations but I think Iām happy with the direction this one is headed.
I wonder how surprised heās going to be knowing that his kid ended up in someone elseās constellation?

I'm SO excited to finally share these pieces I created for D&D's Ravenloft: The Horrors Within.
This project was such a huge honor to work on. I remember as a kid looking through the players manuals & doing little studies of the artwork in there, so this feels a bit full-circle. You can get a peek at higher-res versions of them on my insta!

How it started VS How itās going
Been working on the cover image for the AUās first arc! I really liked the initial idea, but wasnāt satisfied with the overall composition. Itās too stiff, and while that can work, it wasnāt my particular vision.
Anyways, I hope you like the progress! I have to put in the characters, then the effects!
Have a great day, everyone š
Update! (Same image, just flipped for viewing.)
Thinking I might remove the beach? Still roughing in the environment, but itās such a warm contrast to the cold lighting of the majority of the piece. What do yāall think?

'We have Enough Dead Friends --- Lena Oleanderson' thank you @lena-oleanderson for making this poem, was a good read!
I love this piece, I live by this piece.
Reblog game: idea
"Can you really call it a bad idea if it worked?"
"Yes," Heatwave hissed back. "We're lucky it's a star-map and not a weapon." He glared between the racer and the holographic display, "how did you get it to turn on?"
Blurr shrugged "I asked the kid to poke it. You know, figured that-"
"Then where is he?"
"So that's the bad news-"
I have tried to draw this several times, but was never happy with the results. Hope you don't mind that it's only text.
This was the only drawing I felt was good, I really like the vibes.
The AU has multiple storylines, but I think this one might be my favorite.
Thinking about the Exo-suit abilities:
(Names still subject to change)
PULSAR
The smallest and lightest, Pulsar is not used for in-person combat. Its primary design functions as a way to intercept, disrupt, scramble, or hack enemy frequencies, communications, and be a general menace to operations. It has a very specific neural interface that allows its user to process information much faster than normal, along with translation and encryption and decryption protocols.
The āpersonalityā embedded into the base operational system is timid and curious; it will encourage its pilot to leave conflict before it starts -hopefully dissuading Rafael in the process but heās definitely overcome the suggestion multiple times. It uses a small EMP as a last resort for defense. It has powerful thrusters and stabilizers to flee an area almost instantly.
Part of its design is modeled after an orange life vest and high-vis clothing.
It is the only suit that can act without being piloted; it has a remote-control mode that can be put to great effect.
GRAVITY
The heaviest of the trio, Gravity is the āimmovable objectā that simply cannot be ignored when deployed for combat. It is slower than the others but unyielding; built for grappling, brawling, and can magnetize/gravitate itself to the ground or other surfaces or pulverize an enemy with a set of knuckledusters. Its neural interface allows its user to react faster and better anticipate enemy combatantsā and their moves more easily. It struggles with delicate work, however, and will relinquish the lead on those tasks.
Its āpersonalityā is grounded and stubborn, meant to directly curb and challenge Mikoās more reckless impulses. It has had mixed success. When the pair are more in synch, theyāre a force of nature that is quite difficult to put down. It does have the highest demand on its battery, pulling more energy on average than the others.
Not only is it based on the Apex Armor, its design is supposed to reference the idea of a black hole; like this gravity well that cannot be escaped.
COMET
The āunstoppable forceā of the trio, Comet is by far the stealthiest. Capable of short periods of complete invisibility, this suit erases its presence to infiltrate or extricate itself from any situation. If the situation does call for a fight then expect to be dealt with swiftly; the energy blades are high-enough intensity to cut entirely through most materials, but can only be sustained for a few minutes at a time. The same is true for the jets: only short bursts but it usually never needs the full time allotment. Its neural interface causes the user to map out escape routes, navigating through and around obstacles as if they hadnāt existed.
Unlike the others, Comet very specifically does not have any personality purposefully built into its coding; due to the higher proportion of old Cybertronian frames in its design, it was completely scrubbed to ensure there wasnāt anything left behind. Itās just Jack in there, but a more assured, focused version of him due to the suitās influence.
This one is much more of a typical armor. I just really wanted it to be simple and easy to translate into its other forms as the story goes on.
In the end, it did its job.
Reblog game: hurt
āHow pathetic, the high-and-mighty Silas asking me for help. I can only imagine how embarrassing this is for you.ā
āMake no mistake, Morocco, MECH is well-aware of your current lack of resources- itās why Iām debasing myself and making this proposal. We know how to hurt them, how to kill them- we just need you to distract them. Do your part, and you will be rewarded handsomely.ā
These two have a very āthe enemy of my enemy is still my enemy but I need their helpā relationship.

Some random thoughts Iām toying with for the AU:
-āBreak out the riot gearā is a very real threat. Chase is a load-bearer, and former Decepticon, itās a large part of why heās constantly vigilant and always quick to assume the worst. While the rest of Sigma 17 know this, they donāt share that detail with the rest of the RB crew as a whole -or Team Prime
-Connected to that last point, Heatwave is both the reason Chase switched sides, as well as the reason they both decided to go into the rescue corps. Heās part of a combiner that canāt form anymore due to various terrible circumstances; this leaves him simultaneously constantly craving company but despising how no matter how close he gets with anyone, thereās a wound that canāt be mended
-Blades is an exceptional medic, heās just very inexperienced when compared to someone like Ratchet; heās great in a medical lab, or a controlled, quiet environment but easily stressed and overwhelmed on a battlefield. Heās started learning and adapting human practices since arriving in Griffin Rock. He pretended to not be as smart as he is in order to stay with his team and not be reassigned before the war exploded in earnest
-Despite having a background in engineering, Boulderās favorite thing to study is alien life. Part of his enthusiasm for being in Griffin Rock is the sheer amount of things to study, and the people! He always wanted to teach, so heās overjoyed that he gets to share knowledge and learn! Heās in love with the Humanities and has taken several college courses in different subjects because heās so enthralled by them
Letās get put in air jail with mama!
Had an idea for a silly image, and I had to make it exist. Hope yāall enjoy it ā¤ļø
Reblog game - Comfort
"Hey, you can drop the cloaking. I can hear you, Chase can smell you, Boulder can sense you, and Heatwave can still see you. You're not hiding from anyone here, and you don't have to. The island's shields are back online- Salvage is making a quick recovery, so take comfort in that. So, wanna try to figure this out together?"
Keeping up appearances can be draining, so sometimes it's easier to set the light-benders to invisibility and watch the sky. Too bad these are the only people that trick won't work on.
Trying to draw invisible figures is challenging.
