The fight doesn't end here

Similar to many, I am shocked and in utter disbelief about what happened to our country last night. For a country that claims to identify itself "progressive" we are presumably taking a few enormous steps backwards. I am upset for the LGBTQ+ community, for everyone of color, for people who have be subjected to any type of sexual abuse, and for women in general. I am disheartened by the whole happening and will remain disappointed for a while, however, I will not stop fighting. I will get an amazing career, I will pay off my loans, I will support and fight for everyone who will potentially falter from the outcome of this election, and I will do my damn best to flourish as a "nasty woman". Despite your disappointment and fear, I encourage you to never stop fighting. Fight to keep your rights, fight to keep and forward America's progression. We need to come together, as hard as it may seem at the present moment, and fight and stand strong as a nation. As bleak as it may seem now, I believe in the future of this country so long as we stand strong, together.
