I can't put into words how much I'm not on board with this. I can't, for my life, understand people who pirate songs in today's reality.

Like, if the situation with Spotify was fragmented like video streaming, sure. But it just isn't. Barely any songs aren't on there. This should be a consumer's dream.

Aren't y'all forgetting that making music is fucking work??

I won't at all complain about people who just don't have the money to buy music (tho ya could also accept the ads but okay), BUT, this meme just screams "We're entitle to free shit!".

Spotify actively steals from the artists and lets people farm streams, which also steals from actual artists. Not to mention accounts are constantly hacked by bots that farm streams, but Spotify still hasn’t added 2FA, despite being AWARE OF THE HACKINGS. Shut the fuck up, use a different platform that actually pays artists

Also they don’t have a lot of music, i used it once and stopped because almost all the artists I listen to arent on there

And do I need to remind you of the time someone literally reuploaded Melanie Martinez music, put a different name on it, and made thousands?

People think this is just a joke but Alan Turing was the inventor of the computer and his sexuality was illegal in his time (which was not even 100 years ago) and he was arrested. They put him on drugs that destroyed his genius brain and committed suicide a year after being covicted. He was gay and a war hero as well. He helped to break enigma which was a German code that they put all their messages through. He shorted WWII by two years and saved so many lives in the process.
