As LGBTQ+ refugees, many of us face unimaginable challenges each day. We are displaced not only from our homes but also from the safety and acceptance that every human being deserves. Living at the intersection of being both refugees and LGBTQ+ individuals means we often encounter double layers of discrimination, isolation, and hardship.

Behind the labels are real people—dreamers, workers, friends, and family—who want nothing more than to live with dignity, contribute positively to society, and build a future free from fear. Yet, the lack of resources, opportunities, and safe spaces makes this journey extremely difficult.

We share our story today not as a plea for pity, but as a call for allyship, awareness, and action. Whether it’s through advocacy, networking, sharing opportunities, or simply standing with us in solidarity—your support means more than words can express.

Together, we can create a world where refugees are not forgotten, and LGBTQ+ individuals are not silenced. 💜
